    Absolutely ADORE this bar, it has a special place in my heart. My friends and I usually frequent this bar when Alec is there, but this time we had the chance to meet Mace. Both bartenders are so attentive and kind, and provide some great conversation and drinks. The happy hour is cheap compared to other NYC bars, and even when it’s over - the drinks are still cheaper. Food is not served here, but outside food is welcome. The vibes here are extremely welcoming, and I’d recommend anyone to come try this bar out when they have the chance. Thank you always for your service Tile Bar!! (If anyone’s up for a raise; definitely consider Alec and Mace ☺️)

    Great bar for a quick drink. Bartender was happy and sweet and got us drinks quickly. Great prices, wine only $7 (but sometimes even cheaper). Not much going on with the atmosphere here but gets the job done!

    This is my favorite bar in new york by far - they curate a lively but intimate atmosphere and the service is always top notch. i especially liked talking to one of the bartenders (BB) who gave many good tourist/food/fun recommendations for my father who was in town for the weekend. i will be coming back for a long time!

    Moved back to the neighborhood recently and started coming here. Always a great time and the bartenders, especially Bailey, are exceptional. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

    Overall rating: 4.7Wow, the low reviews are really intense! I’ve been here twice near happy hour time and haven’t had any bad experience. Very local, dive, no frills bar which feels like a distant memory in NYC these days.The happy hour is a STEAL. And what I really like about this bar is that it’s on the older side. I watched a group of 20s come in, look at the crowd, then immediately turn around. It was my happiest moment ever. Got to catch up with friends and very chill.I’ll probably come again if I’m in the area & with friends. I don’t recommend if you’re a loud or an annoying person. Plz go somewhere else. Chill vibes only here.

    From Wisconsin, so I know a thing or 7 about cheap drinking in dive bars. This place was cheap, drinks were poured by hand (not with stupid metered pour spouts) and the bartenders engaged in just the right amount of discussion without being up in our business. Would drink alcohol here again.

    Stopped in for a drink, quintessential dive bar, the barkeep had control over the PA system which can be a bit or miss depending on ones taste in music; however it was spot on for me personally. Cheap drinks and and chilled out vibes made me feel comfy

    Divey corner spot that has been here forever in the EV, it used to be a radio station back in the days. You can get a drink here for like $5. Doesnt seem to get too crowded either. It is a good chill spot to hang out during those cold winter days.

    Its just OK I know a certain person tjat disaggrees and swears thaf it is the best bar in Manhattan. I would say you have to pump the brakes other than the stupid cheap $3.00 well drinks at happy hour it is just another bar in manhattan for people looking to get loaded from cheap lower level well booze and cheap prices. Like i said its just ok

    All hail Tile Bar. Great place to go when you actually want to converse with the people youre hanging out with. Friendly bartenders, *extremely* generous pours, especially during happy hour. Lively crowd, cozy interior, notable lack of tacky gigantic TVs. Crowd ages from mid 20s to 50s. So great that there is still such a reliable place in this constantly-in-flux neighborhood.

    Definitely your local neighborhood bar. Complete with the essentials. Well priced too. Friendly staff and clientele. Everyone seems to know each other and are welcome to outsiders as well. I’ve lived around here for over a year and always wanted to check this place out. I was not disappointed. No gimmicks, no bs. Just your standard bar with a great atmosphere and good vibes all around.     Ended up at this bar by chance on my first night in NYC – perfect spot! I wasnt alone for long, mixed, friendly crowd. Unbeatable pricing, barely more expensive than Berlin, and that in New York.
