Trattoria Dell’Arte has a prime location and an inviting atmosphere, which initially raised my expectations. However, the food left me somewhat disappointed. The dishes felt tailored more for tourists than for those seeking an authentic Italian dining experience. While the menu offered a variety of options, the flavors were average at best, lacking the depth and authenticity I had hoped for.On the positive side, the service was attentive, and the decor was charming, evoking the vibe of an Italian trattoria. It’s a decent choice if you’re looking for a casual meal in a convenient location, but if you’re a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, you might want to look elsewhere. -

Oh my goodness! Talk about some real Italian food! Wow! A must! They open at noon, so you can do lunch or dinner! We did lunch! The food and service were spot on! The suggestions from our server were perfect! Ill be dreaming of the black truffle pizza for the rest of my life! We had it as our appetizer. And all I can day is Wow! Great job! The lasagna is a must as well! My husband said its the best hes ever had. Just go! Thats all I can tell you! You wont regret it! -

Appetizers, main plates, dessert, and drinks were on point. Very delicious. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but we were seated by the bar. Maybe a different area might be less. The restaurant is directly across the street from Carnegie Hall, so it was very convenient for us to go see Ivy Queen right after dinner. Highly recommend it. -

We recently had an amazing time at Trattoria DellArte , it’s was first time. The restaurant was filled with artwork adding charm to the place. We really liked the branzino, the salad with shrimps and the sweets! -

I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant! The service was amazing, and the staff made me feel like family. The pasta carbonara was the best I’ve had in a while.Special thanks to Natalie for being so kind and helpful. They also gave me a delicious, fluffy chocolate with oranges. The place was super clean, even the restrooms smelled nice. The interior made me feel like I was visiting an Italian grandma’s house. The prices aren’t small, but justified, and the experience and food are worth it. Highly recommend. -

Incredibly delicious eats with a wonderful setting/vibrant ambiance! We made reservations for 8:30p on a Friday night and were so happy we did! It was PACKED!The food was on point! Fresh pastas were delicious! Burratta Ravioli was so flavorful (the sauce was killer!) and the Vodka Rigatoni was delish! We finished off our meal sharing a plate of 2 cannolis! The shells were beautifully delicate and crisp and the ricotta filling was amazing! We watched a pizza go by and saw how paper thin it was - we’re definitely coming back for pizza before we leave the city!DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! -

We recently had an amazing time at Trattoria DellArte Italian restaurant. The pizza was absolutely phenomenal – crisp crust, fresh toppings, and fantastic flavors. The mixed drinks were pretty good too, though the big block of ice did cut down on the amount of actual drink. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you like a bigger pour. Our server was fantastic! Even though the place was packed, they stayed positive and super attentive the whole time. It really made our night.Overall, Trattoria DellArte has great food, tasty drinks, and awesome service. Definitely check it out if youre craving some quality Italian cuisine. -
Review 9 (2024-10-30 - Rating: 4)
A good Italian restaurant, but with somewhat high prices. I spent over USD 30 on chicken parmigiana, which I find excessive. The service is quite basic, and we didn’t feel well attended. The place is nice but a bit messy and crowded at dinner time. -
Review 10 (2024-07-09 - Rating: 5)
During my recent visit to NYC, I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Dell’Arte, and my love for Italian food was more than satisfied. The charcuterie board offered a delightful selection of meats, cheeses, meatballs, and nuts that my kids couldnt get enough of. I opted for the Veal Scallopini Piccata, which was flavorful and satisfying. My son enjoyed a Red Clam pizza that brought back memories of my days living in northern Italy, thanks to its thin, crispy crust. The Caprese salad with salmon was definitely enjoyed by my daughter. For anyone who enjoys a good Italian meal, I highly recommend Trattoria Dell’Arte. -

Was recommended by a coworker, and it was great! Walked in and they greet you with nice warm welcome and take care you right away. Everyone is super polite. One feedback I would said is when I asked for recommendations, my server said everything is great and that is it. Lobster dish was little to heavy for me, but everything else is amazing. Highly recommended it and will for sure be back. -

Only in New York City, do you sit down for dinner? Someone runs in and says call 911 you run outside after calling 911 to assist in saving a man’s life The owner Notice your good deed and rewards you with a dinner on the house. The food is amazing from the scampi to the Dover soul to the Caprese salad to the gluten-free cannoli to the Negroni, Sauvignon, Blanc, and dirty martini and espresso martini. We appreciate the amazing meal and hopefully all ends well for the man struck by a bike. -

Came across this restaurant while out and about and decided to give it a good. Ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka & the Spaghetti &Meatballs. With drinks and a side of bread it came to $100 Inc tip for 2 . Didnt think it was bad at all. Food was really good and the server was fab! -
Review 14 (2023-11-17 - Rating: 5)
Okay so first things first, I have a gluten allergy so I was under NO delusion that this was going to be catered to me but I couldnt have been more wrong. I went for the experience, the atmosphere, the ARTE! And that didnt disappoint either. Hands down a top 10 experience in all of my dining history. Our waiter was the kindest most adorable man who took so much care in our food that it felt like having a personal chef right at our table. We were a large group of 7 and the table ordered appetizers that were not gluten free, he took it up on himself to bring some of their delicious vegetables so that I wasnt missing out. I cannot begin to tell you how touched I was, never had that happened before. There is a reason this place is in the map and its not just the food. But the food. Omg. I ordered the Crab chunk salad and my god. Its half crab and half salad. I am picky when it comes to my seafood being a Seattle snob and this was better than any crab Ive gotten in the PNW. Everyone at the table was in awe of the flavors, the layers the depth of each dish is mind blowing. Dessert was a whirlwind of everyone ordering one of something and then we got the Arte tour, to top it off we got to Touch the butt for good luck and let me tell you, Ive had nothing but a delightful time since then. So to everyone at Trattoria DellArte thank you for the immaculate experience you create for your patrons, special thanks to the Butt for the good luck 💗 -

We celebrated a birthday in the private room. I can say that the service was a little slow and the food was average. There are Italian places where I have eaten better. But overall the lasagna was large and quite layered. There could have been more cheese. -

Went here for my first time to celebrate my anniversary after a Saturday matinee.Found it based on the reviews and I’m a food guy as a matter of fact I’m NJ FOOD GUY on Facebook.Arrived early for our reservation so we decided to relax with a drink at the bar. Victor the bartender is an absolute prince. Once we were seated Umberto provided five star service! The food was creative, delicious, and everything my wife and I hoped for! We’ll be back… -
Review 17 (2023-01-05 - Rating: 5)
The service and food here is impeccable. Top notch employees all working together to make your dining experience the best. The food presentations were one of the best and the taste was excellent. I recommend this location to everyone whos looking to impress their date or loved one. Hats off to our waiter, Michael, and his associates. Well be back! -

Very nice Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. I have no idea how they get the pizza to be as thin as they do, but highly recommend trying. Apparently, Former NYC Mayor Ed Koch used the be a regular for lunch back in the day. The deserts look extremely good as well and they bring around freshly baked cookies from time to time. Highly recommend trying this place out. -

Big busking beautiful restaurant in midtown. Tons of energy on a Friday night filled with a little bit of everyone. The staff was so gracious nice and accommodating. Our waiter was perhaps the best server of all time. Friendly accommodating knowledgeable and energetic. The restaurant was filled with artwork adding charm to the place. The food lacked a bit as I thought the portions were a little on the small side. While I thought a selection from the veggie antipasto bar were excellent our main courses were lackluster. Perhaps we didn’t order the right things? Oh well I would try again and perhaps upgrade to a 5 star rating. You should give it a try too -

My wife and I took a shot on this place and randomly walked in. Oh my goodness. This place knocked our socks off. Our bartender Benjamin was fantastic. What a character and a gentleman. Thank you for the alpha and the great service. -
Review 21 (2023-02-11 - Rating: 4)
Went here for breakfast crazy enough, I only have so much time on vacation and when Im in New York I try to squeeze in every food experience I can. This restaurant came highly reccomended and I can see why. The food certainly is unique and well prepared. Our meal was delicious, and I thought that the chicken parmesean pepperoni pizza was very innovative and fun. It was a nearly perfect experience. Normally I give out a four star rating for when a restaurant experience is good but not too inspiring. Typically this happens because the food is good but its just not all that interesting. This really isnt true of Trattoria. The food was excellent and the food is unique. The only reason I cannot give a full five star rating feels petty and Im deeply torn on it is because at no point was I informed that the garlic bread was an appetizer that I would be charged for. When our server took the menus from us, I was asked casually And would you like to start with garlic bread? I agreed, as about 70% of the Italian restaurants I have ever been to offer free bread in some form. Would I have ordered bread had I known it was a charge? Quite possibly. But opening the bill to see $9 I had no expectations of seeing just felt a bit crummy (pun intended). I dont know what the cultural expectation is on letting customers at fancy restaurants know they are agreeing to an expense, but I would have appreciated even a minor indication. Would you like to start with the garlic bread appetizer? Dont let that stop you from coming here, but do know that the bread isnt free. -

Edited review: Trattoria DellArte in NYC deserves more than 5 stars for their exceptional dining experience. During my late lunch visit, I was seated by the bar and received truly exquisite service. While my first visit was already spectacular, this bar seating elevated the experience to another level. The personal attention and service provided were top-notch. The food, as always, was phenomenal. In my opinion, sitting at the bar is the crème de la crème, especially for small groups. Dont miss out on this unforgettable experience!Trattoria DellArte in NYC provided a delightful dining experience for my date night after a Broadway show. The warm and welcoming ambience made me feel like I was visiting my favorite Italian grandmothers house. The service was prompt and friendly, ensuring we were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. The drinks were fantastic, with highlights including the Manhattan and the delicious Spicy Margarita. While the veal parmigiana was average, the lump crab cake with grilled shrimp stole the show with its juicy, flavorful, and fresh taste. We ended our meal with a divine pistachio cannoli, the perfect dessert to conclude the evening. Overall, our dinner date at Trattoria DellArte was fantastic, and I would happily dine here again when in the area. Highly recommended! -
Review 23 (2022-06-26 - Rating: 4)
A simple (and updated every 3 weeks) menu of the “classics.” Service was attentive, but not “too much”. Try the Short Rib meatballs as an appetizer. The main courses were delicious, served with enough time to enjoy some conversation, and a cocktail! The desserts, were over the top, portions a bit larger then expected….but fabulous! Family friendly. Just wish we had some “bread” to munch on ahead of the meal, but glad we didn’t….wasted calories! Give it a go!! -

Just marvelous! The food at Trattoria Dell’Arte is Italian done right. The portions are ginormous. Everything is tasty and crispy. I had the chicken Marsala and it was perfect, I ate every bite. The decorations around the restaurant are pictures of body parts which is also really fun and interesting. 10/10! -

We started with short rib meatballs as an appy...outstanding. the bread they put on the table was awesome, garlic, cheese, olives...oh my! Caesar salad was so good with a nice bright taste.Classic chicken parm was a-mazing! Hubby had the osso bucco. Ended with the best tiramisu I ever had.Downside...its pricey, but well be gping back so what does that say? Service was excellent. Great atmosphere.Did I say how good it was? 😉 -

Lively Italian restaurant with funky artwork! Came for a birthday celebration with a large group and had a good experience.Drinks were good, and the vegetable antipasto was fresh and delicious. Eggplant caponata is a must. Got the chicken parm for entree, and wow was it massive. But, I couldn’t believe it was $38 for just the chicken and no pasta, pasta was an extra $13… $51 feels beyond excessive for that.I thought everything was tasty, but I couldn’t justify the price to come back which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. -

A lovely Italian spot in the heart of Manhattan.Gives old school NY Italian vibes in the decor and the customer service. There is a vegetable antipasto bar - and you can pick a combo of veggies.Loved the Spaghetti Carbonara, pasta was perfectly al dente, it was flavorful and crushed red peppers really set it off - highly recommend.I enjoyed the 101 layer lasagna bolognese as well - not the lasagna Im use to.Ill certainly be back :) -

Best experience in NYC ever. Food was amazing (best I ever had). Natalie (our waitress) outstanding! Since we walked into this restaurant, everything was uniquely fantastic! -
Review 36 (2023-02-20 - Rating: 4)
Walking in the ambiance was great and we really wanted to love this place. It is packed tight and not very spacious, so chairs were constantly being bumped. Started with the caesar and artichokes. The caesar was just right and fresh. The artichokes were a little charred and you could taste artichoke. Not my fav, but loved the idea. For my main course i had the carbonara and it was fantastic! The guancale bacon was a perfect accent. Service was good, but server did seem rushed and a really busy thus not super attentive. All in all not a bad place just needs a calmer evening perhaps. -

I was definitely attracted by the beautiful outside flowering appearance, right after I visited the Carnegie Hall for my NYC trip. Therefore I decided to take a stab right before leaving, with the Mediterranean Branzino Al Forno (the fish with lemon spinich). The server was very attentive, and the food was beyond my expectation. I sat outside, but meanwhile I would also highly recommend checking out the inside design. I would choose this reastaurant next time, when I have chance go with a friend to a concert at the Carnegie Hall. -
Review 41 (2022-12-06 - Rating: 5)
We loved our dinner at Trattoria Dell’Arte! The food was scrumptious and our server was friendly and took his time answering questions, despite the place being packed. I had the vegetable platter, which was a lovely light antipasto plate, while my partner had the 101 layer lasagne - which he assured me was as amazing as it looked and he finished every bite. The garlic bread was also delicious and the chocolate mousse was HEAVEN. The decorations were quirky too- sculptures of body parts and a wall of noses, and colourful mismatched decor. Overall, a great, energetic Italian restaurant that isn’t too fancy, delivers yummy classics, and has fun decorations. We will go back next time we’re in NY to try the giant parm. -
Review 42 (2024-07-10 - Rating: 5)
Every time we go to New York, we go to Trattoria DellArte. The mood, the staff, the menu are all exactly what you want from an Italian restaurant. The food is amazing. The 101 Layer Lasagna and of course, the chicken parmesean and things we dream of during the time in between our visits. And the staff is wonderful. -
Review 43 (2022-10-26 - Rating: 5)

Review 44 (2022-02-11 - Rating: 5)
We at here twice on a recent visit to NYC. Both times, we ordered the 101 layer lasagna and the Chicken Pepperoni Parmigiana which were outstanding. They were so good, we had to have them the second time. We shared these among 4 people so we could have room for dessert. The dessert Cannoli was best Ive ever had. -

Review 47 (2019-06-09 - Rating: 5)
What a wonderful spot - a full but not boring Italian menu reasonable prices and huge portions with a friendly and knowledgable staff. Great comfort Italian food but also some special things that will appeal to anyone who wants something more authentic or different. Great flavors. The best part is the decor, which features giant human body parts in a white marble style. We tried to sit under the breast but got the ear. -

I had the octopus and calamari casserole for brunch, the sauce was magnificent. I had what appeared to be plastic in my dish but the chef claimed it to be squid barb, however it was taken off of my receipt and I got complimentary champagne. I also had the lobster carbonara, literally melted my soul. Id def go back -

Who else loves restaurant week in NYC? I know I do! I decided to treat myself to a solo date at Trattoria DellArte, and they did not disappoint. For just $45, I indulged in a 3-course meal and some delicious wine. The food was exquisite, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was top-notch, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend treating yourself to a meal here—you deserve it! -

Review 63 (2024-02-03 - Rating: 5)
What a fun place. The staff were friendly accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. Had a nice wine list and a very nice selection of food what choices for the restaurant week menu. Better yet they allowed me to order off of the main menu. The rest of our party of nine ordered off of the restaurant week menu andthey were extremely happy with their choices. My wife had never had Dover Sole, there was a reasonable upcharge and she enjoyed it very much. One of my favorite parts of the restaurant was the decor. While it was a very traditional Italian restaurant, the artwork was fun imaginative and colorful which offered a very pleasing contrast. My next favorite part was the antipasto bar which was filled with delicious vegetables. We ordered a wide sample of the bar to share at our table and everybody loved each and every one of the items. Lastly, people think of New York wait staff are being very professional but indifferent- it was quite different here. Staph used humor bent over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable in spite of it being a busy Friday night on a restaurant week and they did not rush us out and we were able to enjoy the company of family that havent seen each other in many months. If you went excellent Italian food in a fun and interesting place in a convenient neighborhood Make sure the pay a visit I know that Ill be back next time were in New York City. -

Much delayed review ... first lunch after landing from South Africa, by chance looking for a SIM card, a friendly waiter out front pointed us to T-Mobile, so once business was done, decided to go back and get something. What a delight! The friendliest yet fully professional staff and management. Tastiest food - pizzas and other I cannot remember, most delicious desserts. The three of us all loved it, we did not know at the time, but the best restaurant experience we had in the 6 weeks we were in the USA. -

This place gets very busy and we went on a Wednesday night. The service was very good. The dishes are pretty pricey and the serving size is smaller than we hoped. However, the food was really good. So it makes up for the small portions. We had the burrata ravioli which was phenomenal. The sauce was amazingly fresh! I even scooped all the sauce up in the end as I didnt want to leave any behind on the plate. We also tried the spaghetti and white clam sauce. It was pretty good as well. All in all, it was a really nice place. Food was really good. The portions was our only thing but we understand that is with most restaurants sometimes. I would recommend going here. -

MO at the antipasta bar serves up the best fare in all of Italy. But wait, were in NYC right across the street from Carnegie Hall! The marinated mushrooms and brussel sprouts were our favorite. Soak up the juices with the garlic bread loaf. Add an IPA on tap and your ready for the show. -

Have dined here several times, always a great meal. Last night the service was exceptional, as we were a large group (12) and I asked to be seated upstairs, which request was accommodated. Upon seeing the table, asked Jeffrey if there was another quieter table location. Well, he delivered spectacularly, and seated us in a perfect location! While this made extra work for the staff on a very busy Saturday night, the staff was so gracious. We all appreciated the accommodation, as it made for a great family dinner conversation and the food and service were awesome as always! Thank you!! -

The best chicken parmigano anywhere in the world. They pound the chicken to the size of a 9 inch plate with a bone attached. It is my favorite meal in NYC. Second to none. Great wine selection also. Excellent service always friendly. A must when you are in NY! -

Despite our reservation for a birthday group, they still made us wait. One of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had, boasting an unusual style! The dough had a perfect texture, the meat was generously portioned, and the sauce was just right—though they could have added more cheese, it remained delicious even without it.The vegetable antipasto bar didn’t look fresh, and our selections tasted bad. -

I had to write this review due to an incredible evening ending with Trattoria. We finished an event at Carnegie Hall late and the staff still seated us at 10.35pm although they close at 11pm. We had a lovely dinner with dessert and left at 11.40pm. There was no rush to order or close letting us take the time to enjoy the evening. Gracious.A big thank you. The entrees were amazing and have to come back for the other desserts that looked amazing. -

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fine restaurant in the heart of the city, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant was elegantly decorated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating, creating a cozy and intimate ambiance. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were able to provide excellent recommendations and were always available to address our needs. The menu was a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary cuisine, featuring a wide variety of dishes to suit any palate. The presentation of each dish was visually stunning, with a great attention to detail and artistic flair. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and each dish was cooked to perfection. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The wine selection was also impressive, with a great variety of both local and international wines.Overall, my experience at this restaurant was exceptional. From the ambiance to the service, the quality of the food and wine, and the attention to detail, everything was simply perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable fine dining experience. Its a must-visit for foodies and anyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and impeccable service. -

Great food loved the pizza it was like crisps! So thin and tasty. The portions are filling compared to what we were used to so we couldnt finish it. Very attentive staff. It was pricey for me - could have the same quality pizza in London for cheaper but wouldnt hurt one time. -

High quality Italian food in New York City.Went out to dinner with my partner and his sister while spending time in New York City and decided to try Trattoria DellArte and we all loved the experience. For an appetizer we chose 3 items from the appetizer bar, and enjoyed the mix of flavors. For my entree, I ordered the rigatoni a la vodka and enjoyed my dish. The vodka sauce was fantastic and fresh while the pasta tasted home made.My partner and his sister ordered the ravioli with a pomodoro sauce and both loved the pasta.Great food and great service.Highly recommend. -

What a fantastic place. We visited here twice a few weeks ago whilst on a trip to NY from the UK. Sadly I can only give this restaurant 5 stars out of 5. The actual venue - excellent…The food and wine - outstanding. The waiters/waitresses - are the best - knowledgeable & attentive. Especially Benjamin behind the bar…Sir you could have your own TV show! And Carlo - myself and Priscilla cannot thank you enough for how welcome you made us feel. -

We were a bit hesitant to dine here in fear of a tourist trap but everyone in our party of 7 very much enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Every dish was tasty, especially my veal liver. I think the only issue was the Dover sole was a tad overcooked. Aside from that, great service, atmosphere and the price was decent for the location. Remember to reserve your seat because it does get busy and people do end up lining up. -

Super busy happening spot near Carnegie Hall and Central Park. Be ready to wait a while for a table or hope you can get lucky and find a seat at the bar. They have a nice food menu and some interesting cocktails. They only had one or two beers on tap though. The pizza was beyond thin crust and somehow had literally zero flop. Super crispy and not burnt. It was kind of incredible. That said, thin crust like that isnt my style so I thought the pizza was good but not great.Pizza Adventures: Destination #82 -

From the perspective of an Italian visiting New York, this place is approved.Nice place with quick service (I was alone and did not want to stay long for dinner. Within an hour I was done). The food is good. I got the bruschetta prosciutto (quite large), ravioli (better than many other places) and dessert (small but valid list to choose from).Considering the location (walking distance from Central Park), pricing is not too bad. It’s what I was looking for…a good pasta and quick but nice service -
Review 106 (2024-11-04 - Rating: 5)
This place has an undeniable New York theatre / artsy vibe with patrons rushing in from Carnegie Hall or nearby Broadway shows. Terrific food, very Italian but an haute version of it -- yummy appetizers, a wonderful antipasto bar, freshly made pastas, big wine list, divine desserts. And the wait staff has been there longer than Carnegie Hall. A classic. There are def some upscale regulars here, but its a delightful night out in the Town for the rest of us. -

A friend and I dined here during Restaurant Week. We were beyond impressed! The Grand Prix menu had so many great options, and well-worth the price. Our waiter was courteous and our three-course lunch arrived at a comfortable pace. The aesthetic of the Trattoria Dell’Arte speaks to itself—vibrant colors, sophisticated elements of art and style. The restaurant is appropriately located in Midtown, right near Carnegie Hall. It definitely fits into its neighborhood. Well deserved success. The food tasted fresh, everything was served at perfect temperature, and the staff were attentive to us as well as the other diners. Overall, a great dining experience! -

The atmosphere was quirky to say the least. It was really good though. The food was incredible. We had primarily lasagnas and they were all so delicious. He portions are very generous and we barely had room for dessert. But they have a really cool desert menu. They bring out an example dish of each item. I’ll include an image below to further explain. Following this we go a cannoli and tiramisu and they were definitely worth it. Would recommend -

We enjoyed our experience and dinner so much that we decided to come back again a 2nd night on our trip in July 2023. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. The 2nd night the service was a little slow but our waitress was equally as accommodating as the waiter we had the night before. We had the tomato & goat cheese flatbread (I forget what it was called) but it was amazing. We also had the chicken parm with burrata - unbelievably delicious. You cannot miss the homemade tiramisu!! We were traveling with 2 kids and while there isnt a kids menu, they have pizza and spaghetti & meatball options for kids so my husband and I were able to enjoy a nice dinner (that didnt feel like a tourist trap) but still feed the kids and keep them happy! And they loved splitting the ice cream ball at the end. This was a very expensive meal but considering the location and quality of the food, we were somewhat OK with treating ourselves while on vacation. The hosts remembered us from the night before and were over the top nice. This place is a gem! -

Loved this place! Our group had brunch - the Tony Bennett French toast, meatballs, caprese salad, and some sort of wonderful pizza with caccio e peppe sauce. The service was even better. They took great care of us and through in free beers due to a problem with the fist beer (empty tap) and then some dark chocolate with cashews and peanuts and free cannolis. Wonderful! Would go back again and again if I could. -

This is one of my go to restaurants in Manhattan. The location is fantastic. You can grab dinner before any shows from Broadway to Carnegie Hall. The atmosphere is beautiful while making you feel comfortable and at home. This is a place you can take business colleagues, meet a group of friends or take your family. The food never fails. I always start with some of their vegetable ant-pasta. There is a wide selection of pasta, seafood and beef. The service is always premium from the minute you walk in the door -

Had the most pleasant experience at Trattoria Dell’Arte. I’ve been to Rome before, and I can definitely say that this restaurant serves the best Italian food. We tried the Brusch shrimp, Caprece salad, margarita pizza for the main course and buratta ravioli. Everything was top notch! For the desserts, we ordered a chocolate mousse, and the lady who work there was extremely polite and served us a RW Cannoli “on the house”. I can guarantee you that it will be the best Cannoli you will ever have. The beautiful lady name was Yomaira. She was really helpful, polite and kind. Please enjoy some of the pictures I took below. -

Jeff Jacob the Maitre’D was gracious and engaging and gave us a fantastic side-by-side booth to enjoy our meal and watch the other customers in the back of the restaurant making the experience romantic for my Fiancé and I. Our waiter Joseph, what can I say? Fantastic service, cracked some jokes with us, asked about where we are from and provided us with wonderful recommendations on food and drink. Thank you Joseph! The server offered us chocolate chip cookies before leaving which was a special touch. -

My family and I went to Trattoria DellArte tonight. It was very busy and obviously appreciated by locals. We had no reservation, but were treated as if we did. The staff were amazingly friendly and took time to learn what we like and made menu recommendations. They go over and above what you would consider good service. It felt like we were treated like family. All 4 of us loved our meals. In fact, we all agreed that we not only had the best restaurant experience of our lives, but Trattoria DellArte is by far the best Italian food we have had. This is our first trip to NYC and we will only be here another 5 days, but we will be eating at Trattoria DellArte again before we head home. Amazing! -

We had a large party in the basement. The wine is decent and flows freely. 🍷The Filet was delicious and the Wedding Soup is legit. I was excited by the menu description of the Lasagna Bolognese and the size on the plate was inpressive, but the flavor was off and for an Italian place, disappointing. The deserts were decadent though and the atmosphere was authentic. I could eat that filet over and over and would eat here again for sure! -

Art is definitely something to see. Brightly lit and a bit loud for normal conversation. Food was tasty. I had the Dover sole with asparagus and it was delicious. Some other meals at the table were lamb chops, a personal pizza, a pasta dish with bacon and a cream sauce. Appetizers were a vegetable tray and a charcuterie board. Dessert included tiramisu and cannot. Overall the meal was good. Oh and service was excellent. -

Incredible!Best customer service Ive had in years. We brought our seven year old. It was restaurant week in NYC. I wasnt that hungry so we ordered restaurant week for my wife and a half portion of pasta for our son.For some reason (things happen) the kitchen was a little caught up. It didnt seem too long but I think they heard our seven year old say how long is it going to be. The waiter ran up with an antipasto and said sorry for the wait guys this is on me. It was excellent and unnecessary but much appreciated! Everything else went smoothly and the meals were all very good. At the end of the night he brought an extra plate of cannoli and apologized again for earlier. It was again the best customer service Ive had since pre-pandemic! -
