    Best bar in NYC - hands down! The atmosphere upstairs is sultry and intimate and the vibe downstairs is lively, fun, and energetic. Best of both worlds - whether you want to chill over delicious drinks with friends or dance the night away. Beautifully designed, excellent music selection, friendly staff, and expertly crafted cocktails (get the Paloma…thank me later.)We have a fantastic time..every time. Can’t wait to go back for another memorable night out. Highly recommend!

    The best bar we were in , in our 5 days in New York. The Atmosphere, the fun, the service and the people were all fantastic. It was a great fun evening and we will fully recommend to all friends and anybody to visit this Bar for a warm and very friendly welcome and a night to remember.Gav and his team and especially Ms Shae 🌹😃are to be commended for a brilliant offering , what a buzz and what a fantastic Place .     Great bar. Djs are cool, and they have DJs visiting from places like Chicago. The bar workers are actually pretty friendly and helpful when not too busy. Their drinks are good but they sometimes run out of things like their lychee drink. Prices arent outrageous.Bathrooms arent too dirty. The atmosphere is nice both upstairs and downstairs. The cool part is that you can chill and talk to friends upstairs and also dance downstairs.

    My wife and I dropped in Two Doors Down to wait for our son to meet us during a visit last October 2023. I did a google search to find a bar while walking down Houston St. They had a 5-star rating on less than 50 reviews, but we thought wed try it. We couldnt have made a better choice. We didnt have any food, but I gave them 5-stars for food. Google doesnt have a feature to say non-applicable. We sat at the bar and loved the ambiance. Stevie, from Dublin Ireland, was our bartender. He was busy, but still spent a lot of time talking to us. My wife ordered a Manhattan and said I dont like them too sweet. Stevie suggested a Perfect Manhattan, explaining that it uses 1/2 sweet and 1/2 dry vermouth. My wife loved it. I ordered an Old Fashioned. Stevie said they concoct their own mixture of spices and it was delicious. We had another drink when our son arrived which was suggested by Stevie. Again, it was spectacular. So, if youre looking for a great place to have a drink or two with some great conversation, we highly recommend, Two Doors Down.

    Unbelievable cocktail bar in a ridiculous location. sit at the open window and watch the weird go by. banging club downstairs too. drinks were incredible, innovative and interesting

    All around incredible place. Cocktails were fantastic, music was amazing, and the staff was nice. Very impressive as well, two guys running the show. Live jazz band was a cherry on top.

    Basement on a Friday night was a blast! Got there early in the evening which was the best move before it gets too crowded later in the night. Great little disco.

    Honestly, truly, factually…(keep reading) the best bar in the city. Gavin is an absolute gem of a bartender. These people that were sitting next to me were kinda nuts (pictured) but I guess it can make you pretty confident that the cocktails are really good. Anyway, the vibe is tight, the vibe is loose.     Walk through these doors to have the best espresso martini ever!No seriously, the vibe and decor even elevates the drinks more. Terrance and bartenders always hook it up with quick and great service. Not a huge menu to pick from, but that’s a good thing. It shows the care they put into their craft cocktails. If you’re looking for a party vibe, you can find that right below with a DJ spinning.Give it a try and I promise it won’t be your last.

    SO refreshing to find a new bar in New York that is equally fun and intimate. Terrance and all the staff are top tier bartenders and experts at their craft.     Low key spot with a really cool vibe. Went for Bryan Baia’s comedy show last night and I will definitely be going back. The upstairs has a large bar with great bartenders. Downstairs was more of an underground feel. Bryan hosted a really great show with up and coming comedians as well as comedians on Netflix and Hulu. Really great show! From what I hear, they have late night DJ’s and it turns into a club. Will definitely be back to either grab a drink, see a comedy show or go dancing!

    Would recommend.I got mezcal dirty martini and it met my expectations. The bartender greeted me when I entered and served me quickly after I placed my order.It’s a chill ambiance and they played a classic hip hop music. It was a little louder so you do have to sit close to someone to hear them.

    My friends and I went here for a spontaneous night out and werent disappointed! The bar was moody and intimate, and was popular but not annoyingly overcrowded. Most cocktails were on the expensive side ($18) but we thought they were well worth it! My personal favorite was a fruity cocktail with blood orange sorbet. Shout out to the lovely bartender Stevie for making our night!!! Will be back
