    Cool little bar. My wife and I stopped while on vacation, walking past and needing a drink before our next stop. Friendly bartender, cold beer, game on the tv, nice atmosphere, decent bar food. What more could you want!

    I think people need to understand what kind of bar this is. The bartender I’ve known for ten years she’s loud and friendly and includes everyone in her stories. But people seem to not get that. It’s a regulars kind of place where you can relax and unwind and complain about your day while drinking a cheap beer and looking at a pretty bartender. If you’re concerned about what topics are being discussed from the other end of the bar to friends maybe this place isn’t for you.

    This a nice little place to get a drink from the friendly staff. This place gives cottage vibes, abit small but defiantly a hole in the wall for a quick drink or vibe.

    Literally just got to NYC by bus and was hungry and thirsty.Remembered Walters Cottage as I walked by it before when I was in NYC.I thought their draft beer selection would be much better than it is now. Kinda basic and average selection.I got these buffalo wings which had good flavor and hit the spot.The bartender/waitress (Max) was friendly and nice.

    Cheapest prices on bar in nyc. Stella draft pint only for 5 bucks. They have coors lt bucket deals. It has 2 dart boards on the upper level. The a/c needed fixing on the upper level. However, it is a friendly bar despite being close to times square.

    Peter and Colm (or Cole?) Where so awesome to me and my lady friend! We had problems checking into Yotel across the street and they gave us a warm welcome to NY at 2 am, helped us get drunk, share their cigarettes and provided a fun conversation. No better place to go on arrival at NY city!

    Dropped in on Sunday after a show. What a great find! Bartender Paige was super friendly & attentive. Prices were refreshingly reasonable. Food menu was limited but good, seems like all they have is a fryer but I think they could have a few more items to throw into it. Highly recommend!

    Great relaxing wonderful place. Tommy, the bartender makes all feel at home. Regulars are friendly and talkative to all newbys. Its my favorite place in mid-town.

    Truly an under-rated gem. In a neighborhood full of bars, this is a BAR. No gimmicks, just a good spot with some of the finest bartenders around. Also the beers are cheap, which I find (call me crazy) greatly enhances most social interactions (now that I see that sentence written out, it looks a smidge trubling--aw well). The bottom line is: go to the bar, sit down, grab some Pabst Blue Ribbons (or PBRs, as they say in the biz) and have yourself a dang nice time.

    A favorite watering hole for my friends and I. The selection of booze is typical to what youll find at the majority of city bars, but what sets this bar apart is definitely the staff. The bartenders at Walters are among the nicest Ive encountered in NY. Be sure to try their steak sandwich or the steak quesadillas when you visit.
