    The ambience is quite and service is pretty quick.We just had apps here the coconut shrimp was the best. Their spinach and white bean hummus was a unique and tasted pretty good.Their chicken dummies were okay, wasn’t on the palette for me. Good location, give a shot when you are around.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this hidden gem. The ambiance is calming, and the service is exceptional. Danny, the bartender, was fantastic and attentive to all my needs. You absolutely have to try the mortadella sandwich—its a standout! This place is definitely worth a visit in this bustling city.

    Albert’s was the perfect spot for our group dinner and drinks. The atmosphere struck a wonderful balance between classy and relaxed, with stylish decor and a spacious layout that made everyone feel at ease. The menu offered a great selection of unique and delicious dishes, all served hot and fresh, and they came out promptly.The service was truly exceptional—impeccably attentive and genuinely warm. The entire staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the management was incredibly accommodating to our large party. They made our friends’ pre-wedding celebration extra special, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable night. It’s clear that Albert’s is run with great care and attention to detail.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to come back with more friends. Highly recommended!

    Had the best time here on a Friday night! Loved the dimly lit, art deco vibes making it a great date night spot or drinks with friends. Place was buzzingThe cocktails are a good size and strong! Especially liked the Appletini and tonight at noon drinksWe shared some apps that were delicious and a great size.. loved the jerk chicken drumstick & Mac n cheese.Would love to come back after work for a drink!

    My friends and I was referred to this establishment on Sunday evening - we came to Albert’s and it was an amazing experience..Phenomenal customer service, nice ambiance, great decor including the tile paintings in the bathroom and the wall decor! The food was all freshly made to order, drinks were on point and the desserts was very tasteful - our waiter Allen (I believe his name) handled our table very well - great sense of humor all while remaining professional and accommodating all our requests! We even got to meet the owner for a chit chat as well.Nonetheless, if you are in NYC, go and visit Albert’s you will not be disappointed - very nice upscale bar/restaurant with great prices! I didn’t post any of the pictures of the inside because it’s worth a visit to get wow’d away in person!! Can’t wait until our next visit to the city because we will be returning to Albert’s!!

    I do really love the vibe here. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The cocktail program is fantastic, offering very thoughtfully curated cocktails while maintaining the classics.The space is fantastic for events, both large and small.

    A fresh take on your neighborhood bar, expansive, clean, yet enjoying the nostalgic feel of the Art Deco / Mad Men eras.Have a drink at the center bar (or more!) and meet some new people happy to be there or take a seat at over of the booths with a group of friends for a more intimate experience.Definitely an easy go to place for anyone in the area after hours.

    We came here as a party of 2 around 4:30pm on a Sunday. We did have a reservation but it wasnt necessary as it was quite empty inside (likely due to our timing). The seating inside includes some bar seating and booths. There is also outdoor seating as well which some patrons enjoyed but it was too hot for us.We got seated right away at a booth. We were initially here for just the drinks but got peckish and so ended up ordering some food.Drinks:- Barrel Aged Martinez: SO GOOD. We got it twice! Its a bit alcohol forward but the smokiness balances it great. I also thought it had a great caramel after taste- Alberts Gibson: Loved the refreshing Yuzu in this- Yellowstone Collins: Super duper refreshing as wellFood:- Shoe string fries: Nothing to complain about fries.- Alberts Burger: Great burger!- Mac n Cheese: Quite a good serving for the price! also delicious- Bonus - house made hot sauce: I asked for hot sauce and they gave me this and I thought it was AWESOME.The service was GREAT. Super friendly staff and super nice. Explained some things about the menu to us as well.I would definitely visit again! Perhaps with a larger group as well

    We held our wedding reception at Alberts & they helped make my dream wedding possible! I cannot say enough about the beautiful nature of the space and the staff. This is an absolute midtown gem, and will impress anyone you bring here- family, friends, a date, anyone! You wont find anything else like it. We have been back since our wedding for dinner- you cant keep us away ;)

    I coordinated an Office Happy Hour last night at Alberts for my company. We had a lovely time, thank you to our server Sam for taking care of us. She was very friendly, calm, and attentive. The bar aesthetic was nice, the crowd was young and vibrant, and the drinks and food were great. Well definitely be back soon!

    Hosted a work group event here and it was absolutely perfect! The menu options were varied and delicious, and when the staff realized we suddenly needed a gluten free option they scurried to find several items so all our guests could enjoy. Our server, Samantha, was attentive and so fast, and her cheer helped keep the gathering lively and fun! And shout out to Jenn for helping organize and plan, she made it so easy! Great space, and perfect location for a midtown event, highly recommend.

    Our company hosted a work event at Alberts Bar, everyone from Pete, Jennifer and the complete staff were amazing. Our guests had a great time enjoying the food and specialty cocktails. The venue was spacious and nicely decorated for the holidays. We highly recommend going to Alberts Bar for any occasion. Make sure to ask for Jennifer or Pete.

    This bar has that awesome old school cool Manhattan feel to it. Both the staff and patrons were very friendly and we had a great time sipping on some very tasty cocktails. Definitely make this one of your stops in NYC.

    Needed a fancy place where a tuxedo and ball gown wouldnt look out of place, but also wouldnt break the bank, to kill time before an afternoon wedding. Alberts hit the spot! Classy place, decor was 1950s jazz themed, and the bathrooms had a hilarious tile pattern (seriously, if you get a drink, visit the bathroom afterward). Wait staff were personable and responsive. We left a 50% tip. Hotel checkout was 11a, and the event was at 3:30p, and they were happy to let us chill on a wintry Sunday.

    We were staying at the Renwick close by and my wife and I popped in for a drink. It did the trick. Good atmosphere for a Thursday night. Seemed like a fancy sports bar. A lot of beers and cocktails to choose from. The music was a little loud for what we were looking for. Oddly enough, my wife was very impressed with the pens they had when paying the bill. It was on a very secluded street, you would really need to know where it is. But if you were like us, it was handy so close to the hotel we were at.

    This place is on the expensive side but has great drinks. Food is really good too. Great after work spot. Pretty spacious and they have live music sometimes too. Took off a star because one of the bar tenders made a pretty rude and sarcastic comment about how much I tipped. We didn’t order anything crazy and only got about five basic drinks.     Alberts Bar is the latest from the team behind The Penrose and The Spaniard. Our server was very attentive in explaining the martini menu for us and giving recommendations based on our preferences. Every drink we had was great, especially the Alberts Gibson, with its hint of onion. For food, we ordered the Forbidden Rice Arancini and Shishito Peppers, which were both fine—nothing to write home about. The drinks are obviously the star of the show. Music and chatter were very loud late at night even though it wasnt crowded (poor sound dampening?), but its still a gorgeous space with high ceilings and generous space between tables. Overall the vibe is laid back, chic, and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

    Great place! I went with a coworker and had a great time! The bartender was awesome and provided great service! I only ordered a couple of of appetizers, but they were unique and delicious! My coworker wasnt drinking alcohol, but their NA options were awesome, especially the alcohol free version of an aperol spritz! Wasnt cheap but worth the experience. Will definitely return next time Im venturing close!

    Went to Albert’s on a Saturday night and we loved it. Our bartender was Shannon and she was wonderful! My fiancé and I had the clarified piña colada and it was very good but the bubbles threw us off a little bit, the second half of the drink was better as the carbonation had left the drink.

    I’ve been going to Albert’s every Friday for lunch for the past couple of months and I highly recommend. The food and drinks (I love the octopus kale salad, duck blt, and the cauliflower app) are amazing but our waitress, Christy, really brings this place to another level.     Albert’s Bar is very spacious, sleek and modern. The cocktails options are plenty and the quality is delicious.     Killer spot for a happy hour. Lots of room, good table service, and a well staffed bar. The service was the best Ive had in NYC. The drinks were super fast and quite tasty.     Amended my review and increased the number of stars from 3 (its okay) to 5 (loved) because the owner genuinely wanted to know why I gave it three stars. I explained below, And then he followed up and asked when I visited so that he could address the concerns. It was how he handled all this, his tone, and sincerity that prompted me to increase my review to five stars. The individual ratings on the food, service, and atmosphere remain, and my details for why I gave each of those things my rating are below. I suggest you check out Alberts and see for yourself what Pete and his team are providing.Pete, thanks for your reply. To answer your question about what it would take to get a five star review: we went as a group of six and were squeezed into a corner booth as there didnt seem like a better option available. It was fine, but not great. We ordered apps and they were fine, but not great. I didnt order a drink myself, but reviewing the photos it looks like you might make a good Old Fashion, hopefully with a large block of ice and the flavor coming from a house made simple syrup and bitters, rather than from the orange peel and cherry (they are fine to include for the aroma and afterwards). I remember having to track down the service more than a few times. If a guest has to ask for water, leave a pitcher and dont let it go empty. This was mid day, not busy and well staffed. The atmosphere was nice, but not great. So my review of 3 stars, which is described as okay seemed to fit. Your place seems like it has potential for a much busier time, with lots of people creating the vibe. If the drinks are good, service attentive and the food better than okay you likely get more stars. Im just one opinion, with one experience. Maybe an anomaly, or maybe helpful insights. Wish you the best. What you do isnt easy.

    This spot is the best kept secret of midtown. It’s location is very unassuming so you might walk past it, but the inside is a beautiful 1920s era style bar vibe with great food. And the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming (thank you Alan and Maria!). I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Truly amazing service. From the hottess, the server, the bartender, and the manager. Our glasses never got near empty. Food was quick, drinks were quick. I will be back for sure.

    Great for after work drinks. The bar is spacious with various boots to sit with a group. Also plenty space to stand around the bar. Good drinks but the snacks truly stand out. Very nice bar food not the traditional things.

    Great place. Got there at 5pm for an after-work drink. I like the space, very spacious, open, high-ceilings, no loud music disrupting conversations. We had beers and wines soI can’t comment on drink drinks but really liked ambience, service and vibe. Will be back soon!!

    New Yorkers are always looking for the next hot spot and this establishment is well received for the after work crowd. It was super packed on a Thursday evening, bustling, conversations flowing and can be overwhelming if this is not your expectation. The bar was extremely busy. My drink did not come out until 30 minutes after being seated on the upper level. The food was ok. If you are into fish the monkfish bites are good and the Mac and cheese. The Jamaican drumsticks is a no go. Lacks flavor and seasoning. My drink took so long to come out the waitress took it off the tab. The Scorpio drink the first one was good the second one wasn’t, so there is a bit of inconsistency. The server was super nice and this is definitely a trending place to be!! Go check it out if you can !

    All the staff treated us with excellence in everything, they helped us with patience and enthusiasm in matters beyond their control but that we needed for the trip we were taking. One of the waiters, charming, was attentive to us the entire time so that we didnt miss anything, to help us and to make us feel comfortable. The manager also did everything possible for us. Although we only spent one meal and half an afternoon there, when we said goodbye we felt like we were saying goodbye to some good friends. When we return to New York we will definitely eat there again, good food and above all with good people.In addition to everything said, we saw good drinks, wines and cocktails put out. The price is fair for the service, location and quality, and the atmosphere is elegant and invites you not to go somewhere else and have another round right there.
