What a find!!! This bar was so cute, intimate, and comfortable, while serving amazing signature cocktails with great service. Location, ambience, even noise level were all perfection.I’ll definitely be returning again! Highly recommend the drinks with egg white in them - so delicious and refreshing, while unique and unforgettable. 5 stars all around.

Second floor of the Freehand Hotel, cool vintage characteristics but hip and well attended. Diverse crowd, not too loud or club-like. Not too quiet and boring. Great place to start an evening or meet for a date. Had the Prickly Pear and it was sooo good. Bartender described it as a watermelon basil salad and I was sold. Would definitely have that again! Can stay in the bar or go to the open lighter lobby type area which is also cool. Nice bartenders.

We hosted a 100-person welcome event to kickoff our wedding weekend at Bar Calico. Kaitlin & the Bar Calico team are rockstars and were service-focused throughout the whole process. Kaitlin took all our ideas in stride, delivered on her word, gave accurate projections when planning, made our vision happen, and couldn’t have been easier to work with.Everyone raved about the space’s vibe, service, food and cocktails. Alex and the bar team are true mixologists and take pride in each cocktail. The whole experience left us super impressed and feeling great about everything from start to finish.

This bar reminds me more of a chill hangout spot then an actual club. There is a dance floor to the left when you walk in, however the mid section and to the right it is very much a chill lounge with plenty of seating options with tables as well. Good selection of beers.

Great bar! Cozy, intimate, great vibe. But what stole the show are the delicious drinks and the awesome service. Bartender Jose and Alex were very helpful in navigating the menu and suggesting drinks that were perfect for our group. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. They also gave samples when available. They have some milk punches (clara and under the moonlight) that are very different and tasty- Never had anything like it!

Excellent chill bar with plenty of seating and comfy couches. Professional and attentive service. We just had wine, but nice selection of cocktails. Great vibe for a date or late nite drink or night cap.

Came here for drinks early on a Friday evening and found it almost completely empty. The space is small, but is comfortable and has a cool vibe. We enjoyed all the cocktails we tried, and the service was friendly. I especially enjoyed my corn whiskey cocktail. When we left around 6:30, there was only one other group present. This is a good spot to stop in for a well-made cocktail in a hotel bar that feels a bit more comfortable than the typical option.

Made a reservation for my birthday only a few days prior. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating to my guests and me as well. Also, the vibe is incredibly chill and drinks are fantastic....will definitely be going back!

Bar Calico has a warm and comfortable ambience. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about the flavors and manufacture of their wide variety of Soltos they have available. It was a nice place to drop into on a chilly evening.

My fiancé and I ended up sneaking into this lovely bar late on Christmas Eve, and the amazing mixologist bartender Alex was really great and helped us pick out the right drinks for our picky pallets. The menu is incredibly intricate and very exciting if you’re an adventurous drinker or just like trying new things! The atmosphere is very warm and was just what we needed after a way below freezing day in the city. Thanks again for everything!

Cozy bar on the third floor of Freehand. Stylist decor and spacious. Bartender is great, drinks (cocktails are solid). Less scene-y than the rooftop bar.The hostess isnt always there though and the signs are not obvious and theres lots of people who show up confused on where to be.

This place was just flat-out perfection for a date night. The hostess was friendly and engaging, the bartenders were very helpful in matching taste preferences with not only the menu drinks but making custom ones too, and even when it got a little crowded, the noise was tolerable enough to be able to have a conversation. Loved the vibe, and would 100% come back.

We hosted cocktails and light bites here for 75+ guests with the help of Kaitlin and Elvis from operations, and Alex from food and bev. From the minute we walked the space and met with the team, we were blown away by their hospitality, run of show, attention to detail and just knew they got it. The evening could not have gone better - all of our guests were impressed by the space, food, flow and cocktail menu. Particularly the desert water cocktail! Highly recommend, cant wait to go back.

Bar Calico has a loose south western vibe. It is across the hallway from the Georgia room which means if you want to dance, you have a spot for it. The bartenders are quick and mix great drinks! The overall vibe to this spot is great if your looking for a one stop shop for your night!

Very cool spot, the bar has great energy and vibes. Well crafted cocktails, I would just say if we have to reserve a table, should be at least one waitstaff and not having to get up from the table to order solely at the bar. Other than that, amazing experience and vibe!

Came here after a disappointing experience on the roof at Broken Shaker. Comfortable space, interesting decor and polite professional service. Very interesting menu for cocktails and small plates. Highly recommend the Chihuahuan Martini. Tomatillo Margarita with the cheese bread (suggested pairing) was superb. Will definetely go back next time we are in the city. Comodo Bar is also good (same hotel).

Stumbled into this bar and was surprised, its gorgeous inside with a really relaxing atmosphere. It feels a bit secretive, on the second floor, but the drinks were stellar and the ambiance was nice. Ill definitely be heading back!

Liked the theming and the drinks! The drinks were tasty and interesting. Bartender prepared the wrong drink but happily made the correct one and let us keep the wrong drink as well.
