    Absolutely gorgeous bar with great service and an amazing selection of crafty cocktails. Our bartender was meticulous and made an incredible drink. The Christmas decorations were perfect and set an amazing ambiance for a late night drink, meal, date, or party. I highly recommend stopping by especially during the holiday season.

    Went on Wednesday and they had a great offer: $10 select wine and $10 flatbreads! That’s as good as you’re getting in this area of Manhattan.We also recommend getting the Eggplant Chips and the chili crisp shrimp — both gluten free and must try dishes.

    Dutch Freds is THE place to go if you want an incredible cocktail experience! The atmosphere in intimate and cozy while being sexy and modern. The staff is attentive and fantastic at their jobs (plus a ton of fun to watch!). The food is sooo good (the dry rub wings are awesome!). On top of that the drinks are handcrafted with love! We even mentioned to our bartender that we were interested in going to the statue of liberty... and the manager came over to help us plan our next day at that attraction. We cannot recommend this place enough and well be visiting every time we come to NYC!

    Hanging out in New York City for my (at the time) girlfriends birthday and we are always on the hunt for bottomless mimosas in the best city in the world! So we did our usual Yelp due-diligence ultimately finding... Dutch Freds. Heres how it went!Atmosphere/Appearance: We came here with our friend Aaron whos always down for action so we made reservations which were promptly honored when we arrived. The restaurant is in a more elongated setting like a lot of big city establishments are. Its difficult to describe decor here, but I would say, modern tavern is what it felt like. Tile floors, a generic ceiling, some wood paneling and a single row of lights illuminates the entire restaurant, but not too brightly. The left side of the interior is the bar rail with booths and other tabletop seating sprinkled throughout.Service: I couldnt tell you who took care of me this time, but Im sure if I had an issue I wouldve remembered. I know she was a lot of fun.Food: I mmmeeeaaannn... do we really care about the food is the mimosas are flowing? The short answer is yes, but the long answer is the more mimosas you have the less you care. Lol. However, the Breakfast Flatbread was delightful. I needed the carbs so its a flatbread consisting of a mozzarella/cheddar cheese mix, chorizo, sausage, caramelized onions, red pepper and topped with 2 sunny-side-up eggs. I aint want my pizza THAT messy so I swapped the sunny-side-up action for some scrambled eggs. Like I said, delightful, filling and flavorful. The mimosas were on point and no too juicy at all. The Dutchs Punch was actually pretty refreshing as well.Value: Its New York City, but peep game... $30.00 gets you unlimited mimosas, bloody marys and Dutchs Punches for 90 minutes. However, you do need to purchase an entree so youre probably looking at around $70.00 max out the door per person including taxes and tip. Not terrible in the grand scheme of what you get!In conclusion, I loved this place and had a great time hanging out here! I look forward to paying this place another visit in the near future!

    Went to this bar for a beer. The atmosphere was nice. Good beer selection. The lager was good. I had the hummus sandwich with it. For the price of $20 I got 2 pieces of naan bread with beetroot hummus and some decoration. Gave me the impression of a convenient ready meal. I wouldnt order it again.

    Dutch Fred’s was 10/10! Emily was our server and she was so incredible. She was attentive, friendly, personable, and gave great recommendations. The arugula flatbread was to die for but don’t even get me started on the Bailey’s cheesecake because it changed my life. Emily recommended the fall sangria and I could’ve injected it into my veins it was so good. The food, ambiance, and service from Emily made this spot a 10/10 girl’s night, and I will return!

    Had a fantastic experience at Dutch Freds in NYC before we went to see Wicked at Gershwin. Eliel, our bartender, was absolutely top-notch. He gave excellent drink recommendations and provided exceptional service throughout the evening. His friendly and attentive attitude truly made our day. Highly recommend this spot for great drinks and even better service!

    We would recommend this place for a laid back chilled vibe with excellent cocktails and other great drinks. We went twice during our trip to NYC and each time the cocktails were amazing. We like the atmosphere even more as it wasnt too loud. The waiter even made my wife cocktails that werent on the menu, so an extra special thanks for him. We will always come back here wheneven we return back to NYC!

    Love this place! I come here pre-theater often. Today was my first brunch experience and I adored it. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich. Could not recommend more. We had INCREDIBLE service, our server Daisy was 25/10!!!!! We had a big group of 8 and Daisy was fast, got all our orders perfectly and could not have been more attentive.

    Loved this place! Came for a few drinks with my bf, they had a bunch of really unique and beautifully presented cocktails. We loved the atmosphere, it was dimly lit in the evening and fairly busy on a Sunday night. We had the pesto burrata and it was incredible! Ashley was our server and she was very attentive and kind!

    Solid, good quality food, fun cocktails. They homemake a lot of their own syrups and serums. Loved the Sriracha honey wings and my salad. Bit pricey... But... Its Times Square. Fun festive ambiance, casual, out of the way yet in the middle of everything little bar. Good spacing and didnt feel on top of anyone next to me. Not too loud. Very enjoyable! Will return.

    Would recommend reservation for weekends. Nice spacious place, great vibes. The cocktails here are especially good, got bramble and dutch punch for around $16 each, both were great. Also got small bites like truffle fries and buffalo chicken sliders, that tasted good too!

    Absolutely loved Dutch Freds! Grabbed dinner with a friend after work and tried their Kiss Kiss bang bang, The Dutch Punch in the tea cup as well as their Espresso Yourself martini among others! The cocktails were perfect and the food as well, went with the pork belly Baos, fried chicken sandwich and of course the Tiramisu with fresh fruit for desert! Everything was delicious and the service even better. The best part is that Dutch is right in the heart of Hells Kitchen so it was super convenient to meet my friend after work. Definitely recommend and will go back for brunch!

    Wow, just wow! Mind blowing cocktails, delicious food, and the best bartender! I decided to come here with 2 of my family for a Thursday lunch before our Aladdin Broadway show. We sat at the large bar, and were quickly welcomed by Frankie, who was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. For food we ordered the eggplant chips, sesame seared ahi tuna, beef burger, and lamb burger. Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The cocktails were some of the best Ive ever had! Such creative and well balanced concoctions. I asked for recommendations for less sweet drinks and really enjoyed the Wacky Sake, Dutch Courage, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and Espresso Yourself. These all had just the right amount of sweetness for me, not too much, and the flavor combinations were on point.Finally, our bartender Frankie really made our visit to Dutch Freds an awesome experience. He has great energy and excitement about the food and drinks. We loved all his recommendations!

    I havent been to a bar in 2 years and Im so happy this was the first one I chose to go to. The lights were dim with a very warm setting inside. I actually sat at the bar which I rarely ever do. Her bartender was wonderful. He referred great drink and knew exactly what he was doing when he made them. It wasnt too crowded when we went which was about 3:00 p.m. on a Friday. I could definitely tell this place has been here for a while because of the nostalgic feeling. Id highly recommend going!

    4.5 stars: i was really impressed by the quality of food and cocktails at this spot! we stopped by for dinner at 8:15pm on a tuesday and it had a decent number of people but it was not crowded by any means. the lighting is dark and the vibes were chill—the decor is interesting and at the time, there were nets hung on the walls for halloween.it’s family-style tapas, with many of the dishes being creative / american takes on various different cuisines. we ordered the following plates (** = especially recommend):- **pork belly bao buns: the pork belly was grilled very well with incredible flavors and taste. i loved the softness of the baos.- **roasted sriracha cauliflower tacos: these had amazing flavor, so yummy and the cauliflower was perfectly roasted.- **fried chicken-mousse dumplings: this was a really unique and creative dish— the filling texture and taste was really interesting and the dumpling was fried so well.- eggplant chips dipped in honey: these were great and the honey dip was a creative, interesting choice that really balanced out the oils and savoriness of the eggplant!- seared ahi tuna: incredible refreshing and smoky taste and nice, chewy texture- arugula flatbread: fresh tasting bread, nice balance of flavors from the cheese and arugula.- chicken tenders: chicken was cooked well — juicy and tender! crispy outside texture.for cocktails, i ordered the spiked hot apple cider, which was INCREDIBLE and perfect for the start of fall: sweet, hot, and refreshing. i also got a classic espresso martini, which tasted VERY good and bold.overall, i would really recommend this spot for their tasty, creative takes on familiar dishes and delicious, excellent quality cocktails!

    Let me tell you a story. Story of a cocktail. Not how a cocktail came into existence but this is a story of how a cocktail is reborn every evening at this fancy bar. You walk in, the glasses straighten themselves up. You stride your way up to the bar and the bottled whiskey age themselves a few more years, just for you. You order bar tender’s choice of cocktail of the evening, who leave no stone unturned to wow your every sense. You want to enjoy the woman next to you but the mesmerizing view of the elaborate affair that is the creation of this cocktail has you focused into a singularity.You finally come out of your trance to find time stood still while this cocktail was reborn and then you realize you never got the name of the cocktail because from the moment the bar tender knew what you liked, they didn’t have to put a name to this creation. It was always for you to name this child.

    First time visitors, went on Saturday during brunch & sat in heated outdoor area. Service was great & our waitress very friendly. Had the roasted pear & goat cheese salad which was excellent & bacon cheese burger. Average prices for NYC brunch & portions were sufficient. Would recommend larger heaters outside & more stable sliding doors in outdoor dining area, but liked the intimacy of individual tables.

    These pictures are from 3 different visits. Im in need to return to this establishment. The cocktails were quite delightful. The way they make drinks are like, a painter creating an art piece or a love chemist creating a love potion. Dutch Freds is definitely worth your time. Ill be going back soon !!

    Ive been here several times andI have to say they are pretty consistent. However, the first time I went, the punch was REALLY good. This last time, it was a lot sweeter so I dont know if they changed up the recipe? BUT, that being said, the food was still great and this time I sat at the bar. The bartender was nice and then another one took over taking care of me who was also lovely, I just wish they would let me know when the changing of the guard happens. If youre looking for a good brunch spot or a pre/post show drink or meal, come on over to Dutch Freds. You wont be disappointed.

    I cannot recommend this place enough!! Dutch Freds is probably the best place for brunch in Midtown. I had the huevos rancheros which were phenomenal, and my other half had the avo toast which was equally amazing. The cherry on top however was our fantastic server Gráinne. She was cheerful and helpful and I even gave her a hug at the end as I felt we had become good friends. Its a golden buzzer from me! Everyone needs to try this place

    Great place. During my vacation in NY, I came here once with friends for cocktails. However, we liked it so much that we came back next day again. Stuff was nice, but bartender was specially friendly and chatty. Food was so tasty and cocktails were amazing! I would highly recommend this place.

    Great food, amazing wings.We stumbled on this place on our first night in Manhattan. No reservation and they were busy but staff were welcoming and were able to seat us.Chicken wings were no exaggerating the best Ive ever had. They were really big and meaty, cooked through and sauced really well without being greasy or runny.

    Amazing place with great drinks and food. Every drink that we ordered there was good especially Expresso Yourself, Dutch Punch, Hogwarts Express and Smoking Reverend. Highly recommend Dry rub wings, Shishito Peppers and Crab cakes. Will definitely go there again.

    Really good drink selection and the food is spot on too. I enjoyed the eggplant chips the most, but the Mac n cheese, pretzels and deviled eggs were really good too. The prices are a little high, however the restaurant itself is cool, so I would definitely recommend stopping by and ordering a cocktail if you dont have time for a meal.

    They have great cocktails and also some good bites to eat. Although not on the cocktail menu, try the vesper martini - they make a in-house kina lillet and its great. For food we tried the pork belly bao buns and the beef brisket sliders. Both were good, a bit on the sweet side but I actually like that.

    Nessa was a phenomenal server!! She was prompt when I requested hot sauce. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the chicken and waffle sandwich but if you don’t eat bacon ask for it to be removed. I was not aware it had bacon. The vibes is vibing especially with the Halloween decor.

    I must say the food wasnt that great. The wings were fried a little too hard for me and the sliders were very basic. We did only order from the small plates, so maybe we should have stepped it up a bit.The venue was very nice and the vibe was very dope. I really enjoyed being there despite the guy who wanted to surprise his girlfriend by sneaking on her and slapping me in the head with his backpack in the process.The drinks looked really good and the energy was great. Just when we think that our last visit is the experience of a lifetime, does Melissa help provide a replenishment of our endorphins with a joyous expedition thats reminds of the good thats yet to come.     Stopped by for a quick drink, the place is close to the theater but not overly crowded. We sat on the bar got a drink. Most cocktails are around $16, I got the pink is the new black is pretty delicious. It might take a while to get the order there are two bar tenders only. I didn’t get to try the food but I saw other tables have some brunch food looks good and good portion as well. The restaurant gets very loud too it was a bit hard to hear conversations even just two seats apart.

    Went here a year ago for my birthday and I enjoyed it so much that I came back again this weekend for the same thing. got some of the same plates as I did last time and they were just as good as I remember, so the consistency is excellent. they have a ton of cocktails that are all unique, so even though youre paying a ton of money for them (by virtue of being in nyc) its definitely worth it to try them out, as opposed to getting the relatively boring cosmopolitan or bay breeze I might any other time I eat out. you cant go wrong with the small plates, I must have eaten half the menu and there wasnt anything I disliked. my favorite is easily the pork belly sliders, though. the service is also great and the inside is beautiful. its a great place to grab some comfort food before seeing something on Broadway. especially since its small plates, so you dont get stuffed eating a whole entree by yourself and then fall asleep during the show.

    I joined a couple colleagues for Taco Tuesday (margaritas and tacos) this week and was not disappointed. I will likely return sometime with my husband so he can try their spicy margarita. It was just the right amount of food for me before seeing a show. We didnt do appetizers. We chose to sit outside because it was a nice evening out, but when I went to use their restroom I noticed the inside is very dark! It might be a bit too dark for my taste in the evening, but during daylight I think Id quite like it. Staff was super friendly! A lovely Irish woman waited on us and she was delightful.     This is chicken n’ waffles done up. The siracha maple syrup and the presentation is what distinguishes this dish from others. Dutch Fred’s is a classy place, yet casual enough to wear jeans. I usually go for the turkey burger (which is great), but since I wasn’t that hunger, I got the seared ahi tuna (which was AMAZING). I got the small bites pork belly bao buns - yum! but would probably have enjoyed some dipping sauce - and the buffalo chicken spring rolls - delicious! My husband enjoyed his bang bang shrimp.Overall great place to get a quick bite to eat or grab a drink if you can get a seat!

    Our server Emily provided a friendly & fast level of service that exceeded our expectations. The food exploded with flavor! I recommend the tres leches French toast & the steak & eggs. You gotta do brunch here! BTW, the Margaritas are Fire!!!

    Absolutely awesome experience! Drinks were phenomenal (i got the paradise found and the food was SO GOOD. i’m gluten free and the gf options were quite extensive. Also, our server Abby was so great! She was professional, speedy, and so nice! Great little spot and awesome atmosphere (it was decorated for fall!)

    Went here for brunch. You need a reservation for this place!! So dont pop up without one. For about $40 you get an entree and bottomless mimosa or their Dutch punch. I tried both and they were both great. I ordered the tres leches French toast with the fruits and mimosas. When I say it was amazing, I mean it!! The whipped cream for it was even great and had cinnamon in it. It was the perfect consistency and the fruit were super fresh. My sister ordered the poached eggs with the steak. I tried her order and that steak is to die for!! Very flavorful and soft. Loved it. I will come here again. Best spot to go to before watching a Broadway show!!

    After 4 months away from New York I came to this restaurant with some friends, and my time was spectacular, the service was amazing and the bottomless mimosas are so good,Desi was our server and she is incredible, super nice and warm.Definitely coming back

    Amazing cocktails - personally a bourbon fan but the summer heat drove me to the Blackberry Bramble and it did not disappoint. Had the chicken sandwich as well - both recommended by my waitress. Great recommendations and excellent service
