    I could not possibly sing Juke Bars praises high enough!! For a refundable $100 deposit, I was able to host a party in the DJ and VIP room, fully decorate, hire my own catering due to dietary restrictions, and get 2 specialty cocktails for my guests to enjoy. Rory, you are a stand-up guy - thank you so so much for being flexible with all of my requests (I know I had many). Thank you Connor for giving me a tour of the space when I first researching - you assured me everything I wanted would be possible and you were right! Thank you to Owen for being on duty the day of my party - you were very kind, friendly, and never hesitated to help me reorganize the space for my needs. Thank you Georgio for pouring the specialty cocktails!! My guests absolutely loved them, and thank you for putting my custom cocktail stirers in each one!!If youre contemplating hosting a party at Juke Bar, do it! Every person on their team is friendly, helpful, and completely accommodating.

    Cool place to bring a date.Vintage style decor with comfortable corner booths. Plus stools along the bar and wall counters. Great drink list and bar good food.

    I had a birthday party in the DJ room and my friends and I had a lovely experience. The private room was a good size, the DJ was amazing, the drinks were great, and the bartenders were lovely. One of them even came to find me to give me a bandaid when I started getting a blister from my shoes! I truly dont think you can find a better space in the city for hosting an event, especially with no reservation fee or minimum spend. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back!

    Rory was a pleasure to work with planning a private party for 80+ people. He was extremely accomodating and responded to all my questions quickly. The staff took great care of us and ensured the event went smoothly. Great atmosphere and great drinks! Highly recommend hosting a party at Juke Bar East Village!

    Hosted a fundraising event at the Juke Bar, where they graciously donated 10% of sales to my fundraiser with the AIDS Foundation for the marathon. Thank you Rory for answering all of my questions and allowing the event to happen! And thank you Conall for being a wonderful person throughout the whole night! All of my guests had a great time and I cannot recommend hosting an event at the Juke Bar enough.

    Went here as part of a party. Place is downstairs in the basement. Cute dive bar, perfect for this part of the city. Drinks were good and not watered down at all. The local brew is worth trying. Bartenders were friendly. The food that we ordered was typical bar food but delicious.

    Fabi Papi, El Vaquero & Juke Expresso Martini are the most delicious Cocktails in Juke Bar. The bartender is friendly & the vibe is chill. He even lets you play music from Spotify on the speakers. Happy Hour are from Sunday to Friday from 5p-7p. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you’re out & about and need a drink.

    Must have place for your big events !!! held a birthday party here & the crew was incredibly welcoming & friendly :) my guests had a great time and the room we reserved had its own private access to the bar! the fact that reserving the space is free with no bar minimum is UNHEARD of in nyc!!! I communicated with Rory (who is super friendly and helpful!) on party logistics and he helped print out some custom menus I made. Such a cute and fun touch! The Juke Bar service is incredible! Def book your next event here!

    We reserved a room at Juke Bar for an event with about 30 people. One of the best options in NYC particularly if you want to avoid expensive minimums. Rory, Conall, and Conor were all super pleasant to work with. The process of reserving was easy and we had a great time at the bar!

    We reserved the back room here for a birthday party of 15 people from 7 - 10pm on a Friday and it was perfect! The space is private and it was the perfect size. Everyone from our party could order regularly through the bar (there wasnt a minimum or single tab required). Making the reservation was super easy too - was able to just text Rory to get it all set up.The bartenders were so friendly and provided great service, they even offered a few birthday shots. They let us bring decorations and cake, and offered to store the cake in the fridge for us until we were ready for it. The atmosphere was great - it was busy but not too crowded in the main part of the bar and there was music playing but not too loud so we could still hear each otherOur group had a great time & would highly recommend!

    I celebrated my bday at the Mayfly and had the best time! The manager and bartenders were super friendly and made sure everybody was taken care of. The music was also very fun and the DJ accommodated to the groups requests. Highly recommend celebrating here!

    What an amazing bar. Been here a few times during the week and on the weekends. During the week its such a nice fun chill vibe. Met all the bartenders and they are all so friendly, welcoming and provide the best service. Even the bouncer on the weekends is super cool and chill.Weekends are a lot of fun its an amazing place to go and dance with awesome music. They have DJs on the weekends and the mixes are awesome. They book a lot of parties on the weekends from what it seems and with good reason, its such a fun vibe and ambiance. Will definitely be having my party here they dont even have a minimum of fee for the space!!!!!!Amazing drinks and bar snacks The pizza, pigs in a blanket, and pretzel sticks are amazing. The cocktails are so delicious. The spicy margarita, Mr Thursday and Black mule are to die for. Highly recommended to come here whether youre with a group by yourself or looking for your next party venue.

    Had a fantastic time at Jukebar for my Birthday early in March!! The process to book the place was seamless, Rory was amazing in terms of giving a brief tour as well as some perks for a party of 50+! The bartenders are super friendly, I felt like I was a regular the first time I met them!We booked the DJ room which is probably the biggest private space one can book, the music was fun, the drinks were good (and strong), all kinds of shots were GREAT, and the bar gave the birthday folks free shots once in a while! They know how to ensure you have a good time!Even apart from the birthdays, you can randomly pop in on a wednesday night and end up playing beer pong with the bartenders from across the bar while enjoying your Guinness. Aint that great?(If I had ONE suggestion, it would be to ask the DJ not to change songs right before the drop - please hahah)

    Hosted a birthday party here and was an extremely easy process all thanks to Rory and the Juke Bar staff.Communication was never an issue as all my questions and requests were met.The staff set out tables for us to bring and serve pizzas from outside.The drinks that they served were extremely well made and fairly priced.They even cleaned up our entire table before needing to host another party after us. We never felt rushed and gave us plenty of time to gather our things to be ready to go.

    I stumbled across this amazing lil bar while waiting for a reservation nearby. Grabbed a quick cocktail which was AMAZING (all of them are so good). While looking at their menu I saw they do private/semi private events for NO FEE and thought it was too good to be true. But ITS TRUE!! I had an amazing experience celebrating my birthday there last week. Their events coordinator Rory was very quick to answer all my questions and they were accommodating to housing 50+ people in their second room with some of my friends DJing. Conor and Conall were there that night to help us set up and service the bar, and they were an absolute delight! The space is great, the drinks and great and vibes are great. Absolutey will be hosting something else here sometime down the line and you should too!!!!

    I went for my girlfriends friends birthday. She was able to call ahead and get a rate of 30$ per person for a 2 hour open bar. The service was great and we were provided our own area in the bar. It was a little hot in the bar, but what are you going to do in the middle of the summer.

    The Juke Bar is awesome! My friend Jonathan and I were celebrating our 2-year anniversary (We see each other every 2 years which makes for a great relationship. Highly recommend!) Back to the Juke Bar…fabulous ambiance indoors, small outdoor seating area and fantastic staff. Special shout out to Eoin the bartender along with the rest of his staff. Conall was super attentive checking in on my friend and me since we chose to sit outside. The vibe is so perfect and the staff is so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. This was my 4th time at Juke Bar and we’ll definitely return! Thank you for a real good time!

    Bit of an underground bar but love that all the drinks are served in Mason jars.Only reason I gave it 4 stars because we expected some food to be served, but found out they only had bar nuts. They allow you to order from Seamless or UberEats and you can dine there.

    Had the most amazing private event at Juke Bar! The owner Gene and bartender Matt were incredible--responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We brought in catered food, everyone got drinks at the bar, and it was a great time. We love the live music there on Sundays, and will definitely be back (maybe for a future birthday party!). Great little spot with good ambience and funky decor.

    Enjoyed a laid back Monday evening here with friends. Happy hour goes until 9pm. Drink deals arent jaw-dropping but its nice that its over an extended period. Strawberry jalapeno margarita is seriously spicy and seriously delicious. Tom Collins was fresh and light. Cocktails are generally well made. Bartender was friendly and let us order takeout since their kitchen was out of service. Odd little place in the East Village but nice on a quiet evening.

    Love this place! I brought a bachelorette party here and it was perfect. We used the back room to dance and mingle. The bartender, Connor, was hilarious and so attentive it was almost like there were two of him! And sometimes he would say his name was Conall.     This is a wonderful LES neighborhood spot with a great vibe and awesome cocktails. The bar has a wonderful rustic atmosphere and the lighting sets a relaxed tone for a fantastic night out drinking. The mixologists here are exceptional and they create fabulous libations.

    Came here on a Saturday night recently with 18 of my friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. I got in touch with the bars owner, Rory, in advance to make sure we had a space for all of us. We didnt have a minimum to meet, and Rory was super responsive to get us set up and check on our timing and attendance numbers. He even offered a private room due to a last minute cancelation from someone else. We had our own access to the bartenders and a sweet room away from the rest of the bar, which was packed at times, given the Saturday night rush.The vibe was incredible. Fun mashup DJs all night long and we stayed until nearly closing. We danced the night away and had the best time (it was the best night of my life and Ive had many great ones in my 4 decades on this planet!). The music felt like a playlist I would make, so much good stuff! Truly felt like the fates brought me to this place for a reason and we got wonderful treatment. The bartenders loved us, and we loved them! Def coming back next time we visit NYC. Such a fun place! All we had to put down was a $100 deposit, which Rory refunded to me within a couple of days.Drop by or get in touch in advance if you have a large group. They clearly had a couple of other celebrations going on at the same time and it was fun vibes all around!Didnt get any food, so cant comment on that.

    Cool , low key atmosphere. Great music ( hip hop / R&B classics).the drinks they make are 13$ but very weak. Just stick to hard liquor or beer if you want your moneys worth. I got 2 drinks 30$ and wasnt even drunk . nice spot though

    I’ve been to this bar a few times before and have always loved the vibe, music, drinks, staff. This time I booked it out for an after party for a pretty large group, and it was such an easy process. No fees or minimums for NYC is the real deal. Everyone had such a great time.     Went here late around 11pm with friends and literally closed with them.     Hidden gem in the East village! Every night something fun going on whether it be trivia or comedy. Great cocktails and a great place to host your private event. Definitely the best after work spot in the East village for a drink with your friends.

    I could not recommend Juke Bar more highly. They have the kindest/friendliest/most genuine bartenders and staff in the city. I organized a surprise party here for my friend who moved away, and the whole process was seamless—they were very communicative and accommodating. Juke Bar forever!!

Booking the VIP room here is such a steal - super cute atmosphere, great affordable drinks, and a good DJ / dancey music.     So happy I found Juke Bar when looking for a place to host a 30th birthday party!!! The private room in the back was absolutely perfect for our group of 15 people (they have a bigger space to rent, too!) Everyone commented on what a cool spot it was. We had our own access to the bar and the bartenders were awesome!!! Great drinks and vibes, and they were kind enough to pop in intermittently and clear any cups etc. as the night went on. Planning with them was a breeze, Rory was super helpful and accommodating. I just can’t recommend this place enough!!! Book it!!!!!!

    Top of the line group behind the bar and always a great atmosphere. Darts, drink deals, darts, soccer and surfing on a massive screen, great menu, and great music.Juke Bar is great to start, end, or spend the whole night at. I found it when living in the neighborhood and though I’ve since moved, go back as often as I can. I’ll be hosting a party in a few weeks, and it was a breeze to schedule.

    Perfect spot for a party! Had such a fun birthday at Juke Bar. Literally all the cocktails are hits (especially the Mr. Thursday) and the service was fantastic. We were able to reserve the private room for ~20 people with a fully refundable deposit, and the reservation process couldn’t have been easier.     Not really a bar guy but every once in a while ill go out to meet friends and grab drinks at some bars. Juke is where we always end up and it is always either super packed and bumping or not as packed but all around chill vibes. Normal priced drinks for any NYC bar, and have yet to have any problems there. Good place to go if your doing a bar crawl around the LES.

    Juke bar is slightly hidden. The entrance is actually down the stairs, and their sign is on the side of the adjacent bars awning. Google maps had the correct location though, so that helped. Happy hour was decent. $9 cocktails as of this post. Bartender was very good. I dont remember the music standing out, but overall we enjoyed going there and wouldnt mind going back

    I cant even begin to explain how great of an experience I had at Juke Bar. I threw a surprise birthday party there on 5/31 and it was such a good time! First off, I live out of town, so I was a little nervous about the size of the space because I couldnt physically see it until the day of the party. I had so many questions for Gene leading up to the party day about the setup because I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I can say, that he was super responsive and always so so helpful! I think we ended up having about 60 people show up and everyone keeps telling me how perfect Juke Bar was and how much fun they had. The surprise was such a success thanks to Gene and Juke Bar! The bartenders also were super nice and made really strong drinks! I couldnt recommend this place enough!!
