    Very cool, hip bar/speakeasy with creative cocktails. It’s a small place with a lot of character. The ambiance is definitely felt as soon as you pull through the black curtain. A very cool place to hang out and have a nice drink in the after hours of the night. Will definitely be returning.

    A cool, small, dark hole in the wall with really good whiskey sours. Pretty good music, usually kind of packed (15 people pack this place btw) but we found a table easily enough. Staff is funky and friendly. Bathrooms are really cool too. Courtyard out back in the warmer months.

    This is a place I would recommend to whiskey connoisseurs. The only down side is not all of the staff has their knowledge fully down on the products they offer. That is not to say they wont improve over time. While I would return I would go by my own recommendations oppose to asking them about the history of their whiskeys and the types of whiskeys they have. It is a nice and calm ambience and when it is warm has a beautiful rear outdoor seating area.

    The kind of place where the bartender shakes your hand and treats you like youve been there a hundred times before; even when its your first time there. Fantastic service and great cocktails without snobby pretext make this one of NYCs best drinking spots. A cant-miss.

    Great cocktail bar. Most cocktails were $9-12 . They had a small food menu which we didnt trt (cheese plates, etc.) They had booths, seats at the bar, and an outdoor patio. It was fairly dark with red lighting inside.

    Great Time! A bit of a cozy NY bistro in the Bronx. Unique, delicious cocktails with simple meat and cheese platters to pick on. Almost hidden, ..a black curtain walk thru opened to a charming, romantic aviance. Having to use the candles to read the menu added to the feel of delicious decadence. Yet the bar area was jumping. It reminded me of a NYC favorite, Quiet Little Table In The Corner

    Ive never had a less than good time here. Bartenders are always on point and hospitable. Drinks are delicious. Guest are chill and socialable.

    I love the patio, sometimes a little buggy though, however your really forget that you are in a city when you are on the patio. Drinks are great, a tad expensive but happy hour helps that.

    I visited Lion Lion on a Wednesday evening and had easily one of the best nights out in NYC Ive ever had. The atmosphere of the bar is very warm and relaxing. The owner and staff were very approachable and personable. The drink prices are very affordable. The music was AMAZING. A great mix of oldies, soul, and hip hop. Great vibes and a great time. I will definitely be back. The owner and myself were able to diffuse a pretty hostile situation between a customer and her boyfriend. The owner handled everything with class and made sure everyone had a great night.

    Low key spot with some style, reggae music was playing when we enter. The service was quality and knew about the menu, which had tasty and deep ideas on it. The back yard garden has nice intimate vibe to it it with dimly lite colored lights. The cocktails were tasty and creative. I recommend checking this out.

    Great if you want intimate setting, relaxing hip hop beats in a chill low light setting with friendly bartenders . To be honest I felt like I was in the LES. They have well mixed drinks cocktail menu and also Presidente beer , Victoria and others so don’t feel intimidated. Its not a turn up and dance kinda place but def a chill , have a drink, listen to some dope beats and talk ( the music isn’t too loud). I’m usually against gentrification but this bar is def a cool find in this neighborhood.
