    Although, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it was beyond my expectations.Let’s start with the view. The view was amazing! You can see all of New York from this place. There’s seating inside and outside. We sat inside but went outside after dinner to take pictures. It was freezing.Their menu is not your standard fare. It’s like restaurant quality food. My wife had lobster pasta. The pasta was made with squid ink. It was delicious! I had the truffle ravioli and thoroughly enjoyed it. Like I said, not your standard fare.The drinks were just as delicious and very creative. Again not your standard cocktails. So good and well balanced.Service was also top notch. Everyone waits on you and they check in with you a lot. We had a mix up with our reservation and Lana was went above and beyond to make it right. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves.All and all I could not have had a better time. The best service, delicious food and cocktails, and amazing views. You can’t ask for better than that.

    Ophelia was a 10/10 experience. First off, they have wonderful views, from our table the east river and the skyline were both visible which contributes to an immaculate vibe.The food and drinks were phenomenal (highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip, lobster mac & cheese, and for a drink the Purple Tuxedo), the drinks are strong and delicious, for a city that usually skimps on pours and portion sizes I left very full and properly buzzy.Service is fantastic as well, everyone was very accommodating and friendly.This is the perfect date night / friend meet up spot. It’s a high energy venue with the allowance for a more intimate experience at the same time, so you get the best of both worlds! I can’t wait to visit again once the weather turns better and luxuriate in the view even more!

    Went on a Friday evening after work. The location is great with amazing city views.The drinks were wonderful and quite strong! We got the a la Espanola, Ophelia’s ascension and the happy hour drinks, Negroni and a spicy Marg.For food we ordered the truffle fries and the spinach & artichoke dip. They gave us the edamame hummus on the house as well which was a nice touch! Everything was absolutely delicious.10/10 experience and will definitely be back again!

    I had an amazing time at this bar! The cocktails were incredibly delicious, and the food was top-notch. The atmosphere was fantastic, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening. A special shoutout to Lana, the manager, for making everything run smoothly, and to Jonathan, the bartender, for crafting such amazing drinks. Highly recommend!

    Nice place with amazing view, I order amazing coctail pain kila. Bartender was very nice with us. Food was good, atmosphere was amazing too.Thank you Lana for the best service ever. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

    From us entering the establishment, my husband and I felt welcomed immediately by the staff during our nightly outing. Our reserved table was available on time and we were seated facing the waterfront view. Our waitress, Camilla, was pleasant and helpful explaining the menu choices. Although the portion size of the Chilean Sea Bass was small, the flavor of the lemon zest and other ingredients were aromatic! I recommend this place and will return again.     Great downtown skyline on one side and the river view on the other. Loving the atmosphere and the stylish bar area. We ordered the popular drink, resurrection, and really liked the hibiscus on the top!

    Cocktails were to strongly flavored for my taste, almost like perfume but if you’re looking for some creative new flavors the have them. As always in fancy places, huge ice cube, little drink ;) Truffle Fries were more like fried potatoes slices while I preferred thin crispy fries and too little dip with almost invisible truffle. Didn’t try more than this regarding food. All age groups, if you get a window spot overlooking the Hudson it’s worth it!

    We ordered three differents drinks and they were all flavourless and the alcool tasted cheap. The drinks were expensive. I couldn’t drink the espresso martini because it wasn’t good and thankfully the waitress didn’t charge it. I really appreciated this. On the other side, the hummus was delicious and we had a good service.

    Unique rooftop. But not really outdoor rooftop. Mainly indoors. Can be crowded and very limited seating especially if private event using the area with the view. Therefore no view. Drinks are good $$$ and DJ was fun.Nice place for a drink. But dont count on the view or rooftop.

    This place is perfect for a date night, or even just hangout with few of your friends/family. Really great view facing LIC / Roosevelt island (that’s where we were seated but I saw there’s other side facing the city). They have really cute sofa chairs. They did a great job on the ambiance esp the Christmas lighting!Food and service were great, we only got drinks and a finger food (truffle fries) though, but I can tell the servers were well trained. we enjoyed our time!

    Fashionable in this contemporary age of blended Art-Deco and contemporary styling motifs... the view is the most New York view you can get outside of the touristy observation decks. The drinks are good, and the truffle fries are sky-high delicious.

    Come here for the views and make a reservation in advance!We had a 5pm reservation on Friday night and were seated at a small bench right in front of another group of patrons — which could be weird for some. We were given a 2h limit. See the image of the bench and brick wall. That was our seating arrangement — which was not issue since we are both petite.I had an espresso martini and it was delicious! The views are breath taking, there is a small outdoor area where you can step out and take it all in!

    I coordinated my Office Happy Hour at Ophelias. Weve reserved the Corner rooftop overlooking the East River and Roosevelt Island. We had a wonderful time! Tanya the manager was professional, polite, and accommodating. The service was excellent, attentive, and prompt. Thank you again for having us at your venue.

    Ophelia was a great cocktail experience with amazing views and surprisingly good food. Reservations are a must, and prices were high but if youre looking for a place to have strong drinks and interesting views, Id highly recommend a visit. Pro tip - make sure to get a table facing the windows. Its quieter, easier to eat, and maximizes the skyline.

    Cool rooftop bar with innovative drinks. We went there on Christmas Eve and it was fairly packed. Seating is a bit tight as it’s optimized for the views. Overall each drink on the menu is carefully thought out. However, none of them were as flavorful as I’d expect.They had run out of a couple of drinks on their menu and I was a bit disappointed since those are the ones I had heard reviews about. Overall I didn’t find the bar too special. Lots of other bars if you want better drinks or better views.

    Awesome vibes and view in this lounge. They had an extensive list of exotic cocktails . We went with tequila shots. Was not hungry so did not order food. The music played by the deejay was legit.

    Solid place for an after-work Happy Hour (if you can get it expensed lol). The decor and ambience are fantastic, and the service was friendly and efficient.Drinks were delicious, as my colleagues enjoyed their respective cocktails. The drink presentations were also very nice, especially that of the Ophelias Ascenscion.We knew it would be a bit pricey, but the appetizers were a bit difficult to share due to portion sizes. Also, outside seating is difficult to get and definitely not guaranteed. Would give 4.25 stars if I could!

    We had reservations at Ophelia for the last night of our NYC trip. Stepping off the elevator, it was a little grittier than expected from description and photos (floors, worn velvet couches), although the overall impact of the art deco bar, with cathedral ceiling and fresh mise en place was quite impressive.They had given away the best city view to a private party. We didnt like the lesser dining room where we were seated and went immediately to the bar where we experienced a warm welcome and exemplary service from David the bartender and all the supporting staff. Food and beverages exceeded our expectations; we tried the tasty Tower for Two and couldnt get enough of the Lower East Side cocktail made with rye, passion fruit and lemon.

    Really nice bar with great views! There are seats that face the window so you can have a drink with a view. The drinks were pretty good! The matcha yuzu mousse was ok. Service was nice too! The bartenders was very friendly. However, the one waitress we had was very pushy about ordering more food/drinks. Other than that, the experience was good!

    Very nice and cozy place. I dont think theres a bad place to sit. They have great cocktails, and although the food menu is limited, the food was excellent! Music wasnt too loud so we were able to have a conversation without shouting (we were there from 7-9). Make sure to reserve in advance!

    Had a brunch here on a recent trip to New York. Recommendation came via a family member. Location and views are fantastic. Best of all was the amazing service provided by Jennifer N.     Overall, great experience. Good food, mild drinks, cosy space. Beautiful panoramic views but the windows pick up too much reflected light from inside the restaurant which makes for poor photos unless you get a great angle with little of that. Otherwise, the ladies bathroom has an open window with a different view of the city.

    One of the best rooftop bars in nyc. Great service and great cocktail program. Come and ask for Camila the best server here. Drinks were off the charts (curated and delicious). If you don’t know what you want, ask her for a recommendation and be prepared to be blown away.As a restaurateur I was happily shocked by the consistency of great service. I have been here 5+ times and every time has been great.100% recommend for natives of New York and tourists alike.

    We came on a Friday night at 9 pm for late dinner. They had a DJ playing. It was kinda loud but when we got seat down, the view was beautiful. Probably best to come for sunset. I ordered a cocktail . Our table wasn’t so great but it was cozy. The food was good .

    I went to Ophelia with my friend around 9pm to catch up and have some drinks.My favorite part about this establishment is its ambience and live music. Wouldn’t quite recommend Ophelia if what you’re looking for is a view though. (One of my personal favorite rooftop bars with a view of NYC would be Bar SixtyFive).The cocktails were good but I have had better. I ordered The Flapper and an Aperol Spritz (because my friend is obsessed with aperol 😂).

    From beggining to end was amazing Jennifer our server was spot on with everything her main goal was for us to leave happy she made my mothers day special they did not have proseco and she mentioned to the mgr how I wanted it and others were asking also the mgr Tanya came over apologized and said we will give u a bottle of champagne instead she was also very kind .The food wow 5 star michelin so tasty flavors out of this world The busser Omar was also amazing right on point .I live in florida and I already got a plane ticket to come back and have brunch there at the end of the month Best food and service and the atmosphere the veiw amaxing thanks Jennifer for amazing service J

    My friend and I took a chance at grabbing a free spot at Ophelia Lounge on a Saturday around 9pm. We met an assistant manager in the elevator, maybe coming back from somewhere else. Lana, she asked where we were from and plans for the evening. She immediately went to work to find a spot for us despite not having a reservation. Lana was amazing and so was the other staff that checked in throughout the night. The view outside is absolutely worth the trip/ fantastic sights. I had a mocktail and my friend had a cocktail.

    The place was very pretty, the bar area was beautiful it was small and intimate and well decorated. The drinks were good, I would suggest them putting some type of bars on the windows cause I saw girls take pictures and it looked dangerous.     If you like to spend a night with friends or with your date in Gotham style this is the place. The building itself is a historical landmark that dates back to the roaring 20s. The lounge is on the top floor and its interior matches the outside style of the building. Besides you will have pretty much a 360 bird view on east side midtown as well as booming whillamsburg. The place have very creative mixologist, the menu is mostly appetizers, but the food is good and easy to share. On the weekend they do have live DJ.

    Fantastic views from every side, great drinks, and a cozy chic atmosphere - Ophelia is an instant fave. The space is so unique and intimate, offering a great variety of seating options. Cocktails are typical Manhattan prices, and I respect that you’re not paying too much of a premium for the view. “The Flapper” was super fun and refreshing.Probably not a great spot for large parties, but perfect for date night or smaller groups!

    One of the only true 360 degree rooftops in the city, Ophelia has a number of unique calling cards.Pair it with its uniquely serene neighborhood (between the UN and Sutton Place) and it’s a great relaxed date spot.The creative cocktails- White Lightning and Honey & Smoke are sure to capture your eye and captivate your taste buds.The unique “running track” outer edge is both alluring and a little too basic and the drinks have been some big hits but also some big swings and misses.Definitely a spot worth trying and it gets a nod as a Top 15 rooftop in the city on my list along with the distinction of the most old-world, subdued Manhattan feel.

    Awesome space, food, drinks, vibe. Met friends for cocktails, heavy rain day so not much of a view, but the space was intimate and fun. Try the lobster caviar rolls, truffle fries, spinach artichoke dip, and any/all the cocktails. The DJ also didnt disappoint on a Thursday evening at 6:30pm. Will be back.

    Very cute spot with good views of the city. A bit on the expensive side, but it’s to be expected for a rooftop. Ophelia has a nice romantic vibe, especially during and after sunset. We caught a great rainbow last time we were there😍. Drinks and food are good.Side note - there’s no regular chairs and tables. Expect to eat sitting on comfy velvet benches and using a coffee table. There’s a few high tops too.

    I absolutely love this place. It is so elegant and picturesque. Also, it is absolutely not a touristy place, I feel like its the locals secret bar. You need to have a reservation in order to get in without the wait, but its a rule for any place in New York.  Prices are rather high, but it is worth it. I had a cocktail named excess and it was delicious. Overall great place for a girls night out or a fancy date.

    Deco drinks spot atop a building on E49th. Great views and plenty of small nooks for chatting or enjoying a drink. Seats are not quite as comfortable as youd want if you were to linger as long as you wanted. Went late on a Monday as it was closing and enjoyed a Fernet on the balcony in the crisp air. Could see it being a bit claustrophobic if it were over crowded on a busy night but definitely worth a visit. In some ways the northern (city) views are the most 🙌

Like other reviews, very tiny.We got seated outside which sounds good in theory. Why it wasn’t was because we only saw our waitress once every 30-40 minutes. So ordering the drink and closing the tab felt like it took years.The view was nice. I didn’t hate the view. But for the price and the luxury of it all, I feel like it should be higher or different. Not for me. No interest in coming back. I don’t recommend to tourists.

    Gorgeous rooftop bar and lounge tucked away in the Beekman Tower apartment building. If you didnt know, now you know. Right when you step off the elevator, the snow globe ceiling is likely the first thing that grabs your attention. Its just so beautiful.     Came here on a Saturday night and it was one of the best places I’ve been to. Great ambiance and great food. The cocktails were amazing my favorite was called resurrection. We got the burrata salad with a balsamic reduction that was delicious. We also got the sea bass skewers with the truffle fries and they were great as well. The desserts so well crafted and balanced so it wasn’t too sweet which is how I like it. Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

    This place really surprised me. Its tight to walk around so hard to find room for large group but you can rent more space for orivate parties. We also ordered a bottle of wine and several other cocktails.But, service was underwhelming to say the least.We felt rushed and that the server really didn’t seem excited to engage with our group, or even sale us anything.
