    Such a nice and sleek cocktail bar with nice bartenders/ servers. They’re doing a summer collaboration with Morgenstern’s ice cream and it’s worth trying those as well.

    Amazing quality drinks with exquisite flavors! I don’t remember the name of the raspberry drink but the butterscotch espresso martini was divine. On the pricey side but a cozy and intimate place to grab a quick drink.

    Awesome little find! During the day it operates as a cafe with really good coffee and pastries. Then they shut down and transform into cocktail mode at night with great, creative drinks. Both are really chill vibes and you cant go wrong day or night.

    I’m so sad to hear they’re closing the coffee store :( i’ve spent almost every weekend morning here for the last six months studying here. it really was the best coffee place for me — great coffee, service and weird music.the bar is also really cool! i had my birthday party here and we all had a blast. hopefully more people realise this place as a true nyc gem! -taz

    A cozy and dark coffee shop in the morning, a subtle and calm cocktail bar in the evening. I enjoy the vibes of this place, have written my fair share of things while sipping the coffee (not too bad btw) in the mornings. During the evening, the best parts are listening to the locals while drinking one of the varying modifications on classic cocktails. They also introduce their own from time to time, most I’ve tried are decent. Wine selection isn’t the greatest, but they do have some. Again, my favorite part is the vibe, it’s not quite like anything in FiDi, feels like it should be in Brooklyn or LES? But somehow it fits well in the area!

    We had cocktails at Split Eights on two different nights and I adore this bar! Adore it! I honestly cant recommend it enough. I feel horrible for not remembering their name but the person who wears glasses is super friendly and accommodating. The vibe, music and bar menu make for a special place indeed. The clever idea of having a Bartenders choice where the customer picks the alcohol and then whether its spirit forward or not is brilliant! I wish more bars offered this option, because it makes sense and is welcoming. If someone came to your house you would do the same, so why not at a bar.

    Jess, Michael, Billy, Jonathan, Mateo, and Madalyn are effing great. Coffee hours are perfect for quiet catch ups, work, and studying, and cocktail hours are great for everything from a date to a nightcap.Michael, Billy, and Madelyn make the best sazerac, and always makes the right drink according to your mood when you ask for the bartenders choice. Run - dont walk - to Split Eights.The only complaint I have is that their operating hours arent long enough...because the regulars are also really cool ✌🏼

    This is a very cool cozy little spot with a downstairs and upstairs. Great for a morning cup but better for an afternoon/evening cocktail. In summer they do a cool thing with their very own ice cream and cocktail collab that they have teamed up with a local ice creamery to make! The service here is great its a friendly place owned by friends, so bring your friends and have some fun

    Came here for a night out with a coworker and the environment was very cozy and it was easy to have a good conversation. The bartender was great and made each drink perfect! This place is definitely in my rotation for nice places to grab a good drink after a long day of work! Definitely check them out!

    Stopped in for a quick cocktails before a play, and they cocktails were so good we went back after the play. Cool relaxed vibe, friendly service and good music. If you want to chill somewhere with excellent cocktails (thanks to competent bartenders), this place is a must visit.

    I’ve been going here more and more because it’s a perfect place to get some work done out of the house on weekdays mornings. The coffee is great and the barista is super nice. It’s a very chill and chic vibe.

    Really enjoyed this local bar! They’ve got tasty drinks and quick service from kind bartenders. Love all the dark alcohol forward drinks, so many bars neglect to give these the attention they deserve. Look for the googly eyes hidden around the bar!

    Came here with my girlfriend for a chill night out. Drinks were incredible. Espresso martini was top notch (makes sense for a coffee shop by day) and Clover Club is a must try. Great addition to the neighborhood.

    This is by far my favorite coffee shop and I love to go here and work. The coffee is excellent, although be warned they do not have decaf. They have alternate milks because Im definitely an oat milk fan and they have an amazing vegan chocolate chip cookie that is to die for.

    Impeccable drinks and even better service. This is my go to spot for a great cocktail and the staff are all extremely friendly and professional. Whether it’s Billy & Sam bartending in the evening or Jess and Catana for coffee in the morning, they treat you like family. Wish I could give this spot more than 5 stars!!

    This place is comfortably interwoven into our life in Fidi. We come here every weekend for coffee, half because they have in our opinion the best coffee out of all our options in the neighborhood, and half because our dog pulls us here for treats every morning without fail.For cocktail hour, the ambiance is always great, playlist always flawless, and cocktails are all so awesome. We always have a great time chatting with the staff, and are so happy to consider this place an integral part of our community down here.

    I’m a regular here during the day and feel, after trying most of the coffee shops in the area, that this is most likely (definitely) the best coffee shop downtown. Great espresso, the most potent cold brew I’ve had to memory, and did I mention they turn into a badas* cocktail bar at night? LEGIT the most knowledgeable mixologists Ive experienced in quite some time, and thats coming from someone who likes their aperitivos a little too much.     This is the perfect place to get a drink after work or catch up with an old friend or coworker. Its quiet, relaxed -- you can actually have a full conversation and hear each other. The cocktail menu is excellent.I had the Arsenic & Old Lace (gin-based with absinthe), and it was exactly my taste. Clean and strong. My friend got the Clover Club, which seems to be a popular choice. Its a very pretty drink, foamy (egg whites) and raspberry red, with a star anise on top. Its great if you like your cocktails on the sweeter side.The place is bigger than it looks. Theres upstairs seating, which I think can accommodate larger parties (a group of my coworkers came here once), but downstairs its mostly just the bar and tables for two.

    Chill vibes, relaxed barista. Its like the in place you do not want to tell people about so it doesnt get crowded or touristy.I came in on a whim and wish I had brought my laptop. I could get a lot of work done here while enjoying my coffee.Now I am curious what the environment is like at night as a metamorphosis happens and baristas turn into bartenders, and coffee drinks become cocktails.Next week when I come back to this area I will bring my laptop.

    Incredible mixologist/owner. 4 of us met for drinks, service was attentive. WE LOVED THE COCKTAIL MENU as well as the custom drinks we requested. The nuance shift of flavors as we asked for different profiles was impressive. Nailed it every time. Presentation was perfect. 10/10

    I’m a bit surprised this place was empty when we came - The cocktail was amazingly crafted and the flavors were delicately put together. They also provided great ambience for friend gathering. Definitely will come back again.

    Sometimes it’s possible to forgo complexity, stress and the desire to fight through a throng of crazy people to get a decent drink in this town. If that sounds like where you’d like to be then this is the bar for you.Tucked away (almost hidden) off Broad street, dimly lit but not dark. Eclectic music (not too loud) and knowledgable staff make for a perfectly balanced little bar to revisit classics or experience new flavors across the spectrum of cocktails. There’s some nice wine choices and a few beers on offer to satisfy non liquor drinkers and if the sun is yet to pass the yardarm then they serve excellent coffee too.As Marvin Gaye said, “Try it, you’ll like it”...
