    Passed a perfect Saturday afty here with two great cocktails, attentive staff & fun, warm atmosphere. The mole negroni and roasted corn sour were both amazing. Perfectly complemented with a mound of mole mushroom nachos.

    Why is this bar one of the top 50 in the world ? Because they absolutely do everything right.We had reserved two seats at the bar. The place was absolutely on fire with energy. We dove right into their cocktail menu. Unique, innovative & flavourful. We then tucked into their food: fish tacos (maybe the best we have ever eaten), a Mexican riff on a Caesar salad & finally nachos with mole sauce (which we struggled to finish but were soooo good).Our neighbours at the bar were regulars and were quick to make suggestions for us. Kip behind the bar was terrific. Genial & generous.You really get amped up at this place. So much energy going on with their thoroughly clever cocktail & food offerings.

    Went to Superbueno after the Bad Bunny concert with my friends. We were able to be seated right away, our drinks were tasty and pork belly tacos savory, rich with flavor. My mouth is legit watery thinking back about it. The music and vibe was popping. But what stood out to me the most was the service and workers, they looked like they enjoyed working there, all smiles and friendly. I love that. Would definitely come back!

    The Green Mango Martini packs a punch! Strong, with a pleasant green mango aftertaste. Simple but satisfying.I wish the green mango was a little more prominent though, as the tequila drowns everything else in the drink.

    I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Superbueno. They not only have high quality, approachable drinks, but they have the most warming welcoming staff who go above and beyond to make every experience there the MOST hospitable and enjoyable. The atmosphere is on point, the music always hits and might I add, my water glass is NEVER empty. Youd swear someone is hiding in the plants with water bottles ready to top your glass off after you take a sip. All in all, this bar quickly became my absolute favourite bar in the world, and one that I recommend to everyone who asks. Kudos to the staff for always keeping the consistency and energy at an all time high and thank you all for making me feel so welcome every time.

    Been to this spot 3 times recently and I have to say, the atmosphere is contagious. What a vibrant and lively venue. For the location, I do think the menu is relatively expensive, however, the service, quality and energy compensate for the price. We went on a Sunday night and I was genuinely surprised how packed and lit it was. S/o to the red-head bartender, he is very good at what he does and definitely had a knack for entertaining!

    Theres a dining area for those who have bigger parties and want to order food, but beware of the long waiting times! I usually get seated by the bar, and there are times where theres an hour plus wait for that, even on weekdays.But its worth it because of their vodka y soda. Listen, you dont taste anything but guava and the salt rim when you get it, and shes the tastiest thing!! She alone is worth the trip!!

    Awesome cocktail bar, dealers choice did so very well. The salted tamarind and plum milk punch was phenomenal would go back just for but would have to sample something else new too. Packed but put name on list and was able to get a seat fairly quickly, theres a small bar next by easily got a phat real decent blended drink while waited

    Had such a great time at Superbueno! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super attentive and friendly—they checked our IDs right away, and we felt welcomed instantly. The bartender was an amazing very upbeat and fun, really added to the vibe of the night.The cocktails were fire! We tried the Mole Negroni, a Vodka Soda, and a Tamarind Milk Punch—all of them hit the spot, but that milk punch was definitely something special. We also ordered some tacos and a Caesar salad, and both were so good! Definitely recommend trying them.The music gave us major Mexico vibes, and the red lighting just added to the whole cool, laid-back atmosphere. It’s one of those spots where you lose track of time because you’re just having such a good time, they made us feel special by acknowledging our anniversary after mentioning it to another guest at the bar.If you’re into good drinks, great vibes, and friendly people, you’ve gotta check out Superbueno!

    Dimly lit yet also very lively spot for Mexican-inspired creative cocktails and small eats. Loved the vibes, very high energy, especially if theres a celebration going on. We mostly got drinks, and a personal favorite was the green mango martini. Food-wise, loved the salted plum donut.

    Fabulous spot, excellent for a date or drinks w friends. So vibey with great service and really delicious food!We tried several drinks but in my opinion, the vodka y guava drink is the way to go. And order yourself a toastada - incredibly fresh, vibrant flavors, and a solid portion!

    MAN OH MAN!!! This place was the BOMB!!!! From the second we walked in we were greeted. Super casual vibes. We arrived around 5:15pm on a Wednesday afternoon, and had a great time.Was a bit shocked at the price for the Vodka Soda at $20+ , but the waitress recommended it, it was also $5 off on happy . To be completely honest, it was the BEST VODKA SODA I ever had. 100% worth it.We were then more mind blown when the food arrived. We just got the flautas. They were the perfect size and so delicious. We had no idea it was plant based til the end. The almond cojita cheese was a bit salty. But that sauce was so flavorful!I am happy to come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting NYC.Only critic I would say, maybe renovate the bathrooms.

    Every time I come here, everyone in the bar is in a good mood. Theres a lot of joy in the atmosphere from the bar staff to the patrons.Its worth the hype, the cocktails are incredible. My favorite was the Roasted Corn Sour, with a close second being the Mushroom Margarita. I also asked for the Chamoy Y Soda with alcohol and that rocked. You cant go wrong with whatever you get.

    Excellent cocktails. The Nogada Fizz has such a pronounced Poblano flavor, yet the drink is still perfectly balanced and harmonious. The foam was excellent, which I think they achieve through a reverse dry shake + making sure to get all the foam out of the tin. The plum/tamarind milk punch was also amazing: fruity, savory, not-too-sweet, and overall hard not to crush. I also liked the corn whisky sour, though for me it could have used slightly more roasty/corn flavor (the overall flavor profile was close to a standard whisky sour).Its clear that so much work happens behind-the-scenes to produce such innovative and tasty results. The drinks are not cheap, understandably ($18-20 menu price). Their glassware, ice, and garnishes were also beautiful, which improved the experience.The bartenders were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions. It wasnt difficult to be seated on a Sunday evening.

    This place is fun, the drinks delicious and the food was so freaking good. The pork belly tacos were just ridiculously yummy-pull them off the wooden skewers and enjoy! The Vodka y Soda had this tart zing from the guava which legit made these so refreshing. And the atmosphere felt like its a party all day. The bartender was swinging the pendulum lights back and forth and grooving with the music. I was there for early brunch but you can tell this place gets popping as the day goes on. Superbueno you live up to your name!

    A fun bar atmosphere makes Superbueno a great spot for casual drinks/food. Our bartender Shammai was very friendly, our drinks great tasting, and the music was and ambiance was great. The Bam Bam was my favorite cocktail. We came in earlier in the evening so space was still available, but i can imagine at night it packs up.

    Superbueno is one of those places where you find yourself transported to another mindset - one where you feel loved and cared for by the people who work there; one where you are able to feed yourself delicious food and insanely crushable drinks (Vodka y Soda is where it’s at); and where you can meet new people who may just be some of your future best friends.It gets a little busy so reservations are the way to go, but walk-ins seem to get sat down quite quickly as well.Definitely a place to check out.

    We came for a birthday after dinner, got there early but were immediately seated. We started with the Green Mango Martini and it wasn’t at all what we expected but it was still tasty! We all had different drinks next, the roasted corn sour, the milk punch, a slushy and the gin and tonic. All wonderful and tasty. We were accommodated with shrimp on the side for the dorilocos because of allergies at the table. The music was a vibe and the people working there seemed happy and ready to get the party started even on a Monday!

    The drinks are perfect, the vibes are strong. The service could use some work. I’m happy wait an hour for a table, but if there are 4 unused tables while I wait, I can’t help but notice the inefficiency of their process.. after 2 hours of waiting we finally got a table, ordered the “potato” tacos which were basically French fries wrapped in a soggy tortilla. Consider the presentation of your dish, maybe grease and wax paper don’t do your delicacy justice. Number 1 bar in America makes me think our standards are slipping. Love the spot but yall can do better.

    One of the bar openings during the last year in NYC. Lively atmosphere and mexican vibes. Cocktails are really good and I didnt try the food but there were some interesting options in the menu. Top hospitality and attention from all the team. It can get really crowded, particularly during the weekends, but its definitely worth the visit.

    I wish I could give Superbueno more than 5 stars. Nacho and team have created such a warm, welcoming, fun space. The Vodka y Soda lives in my head rent free. I love that drink so much. Food is great too, but the cocktails are the star of the show along side the absolute professional service.

    I found the drinks menu interesting, they are certainly not the usual set you’d find elsewhere. Perfect spot for a date (lots of small tables-for-two, intimate ambience) but not ideal for a larger group (although there were a few when I’d went). It’s one of those places I might go again for a drink if I’m in the area, but not seek out.

    Ever since Ghost Donkey closed, I’ve been looking forward to sitting at a bar run by Nacho Jimenez. I was excited when he announced his new project, Superbueno. The space is colorful, clean and the cool cocktail signage to the left of the bar is aesthetically pleasing and reminiscent of signage in Mexico.I sat at the bar and the service from the bartender was good. He helped me decide what cocktail to try and I ordered a nosh and a cocktail. The mushroom “Quesadilla bombas”, were very tasty; round balls, not in the traditional quesadilla style. The serrano salsa was extra good and spicy.I decided to try a cocktail outside of my usual spirit choice of mezcal, tequila, rum. I do love milk punch cocktails so I was excited to try the “Salted Tamarind” cocktail which uses Charanda, Ayuuk, salted tamarind and plum, lojana tea and milk. Interesting, unique flavors, balanced, sweet, but not too sweet.This was a quick stop through but I’ll definitely be back for more food and to try the roasted corn sour cocktail. Would be superbueno if they added a happy hour!!

    Went solo on a Thursday afternoon after work. Got there right as it opened as a walk-in, which was probably a good thing. Since they were ranked as the #2 cocktail bar in NA, apparently Resy has been booming! Over half the tables were already reserved, and it was only 4PM. So if youre planning on being here during a busier time, Id definitely make a reservation. Their happy hour is legit - the chips and guac are delicious. Housemade corn tortilla chips, perfectly salted, with fresh chunky guac? Yes please. The bartender knows what hes doing, and is effortless and friendly. My roasted corn sour was delicious (brownie points for that big ole monogrammed ice cube), not too sweet, just a hint of savoriness, with all the punch and mouth watering feel of a good sour. Id come here again to try the tacos (also a happy hour special) and just vibe in the space. Not much of a party person so you wont see me here on a Friday/Saturday night, but I hear the space gets fun for the folks looking for it! Definitely worth the hype.

    Okay, went on a Tuesday and it was superawesome (sorry, had to!)! Loud enough to be hopping with energy, but not too loud to carry on a conversation, a pleasant, fun vibe overall. Food was fantastic, we had the Tostada Campechana and the Birria Grilled cheese. Tostada with seafood was out of this world, a little spicy, crisp tostada, avocado all came together nicely, and this from someone who rarely orders seafood. Birria Grilled cheese was delicious but not really a grilled cheese. Birria was spot on. Every server, from the host desk to the bar to the table was superb. Service flowed with ease. Not fancy but superbueno for sure!

    Great vibes. Amazing drinks and the food was very delicious. Favorites were the vodka y soda - the guava is so fresh and delicious and not overwhelming sweet. The mushroom margarita was amazing too. Initially was concerned it would be very mushroom forward but it wasn’t. The strawberry tepache for 2 was more like 6 actual cocktails (such good value and delicious). Would’ve gone for the Fresca tonic but we had too much at this point haha. The sin alcohol version was very nicely done - very complex and balanced. The roasted corn sour was prob our least favorite - lacking the corn flavor and just tasted like a sour. The mole Negroni and green mango martini were not as special but still good. They ran out of the salted plum tamarind punch. For food, we thought the ceviche was delicious, birria grilled cheese was amazing, and the pork belly tacos were bomb!! Like eating in Mexico City without having to go to Mexico City. Super recommend!

It was good regardless . Food wise , these are probably my favorite tacos now . They were executed perfectly the texture and the amount of fat on the meat was just perfect . Salsa was not very spicy but very flavorful 10/10.

    Get there early, space fills up quick. When you have the option though sit at the bar and enjoy some well balanced drinks with unique flavors like the mushroom margarita..... I know, weird but very tasty. Shout out to Neal behind the bar who was killing it, never skipped a beat from welcoming each guest to slinging drinks in record time. Great place and definitely will return.

    I only had two drinks. While open to trying more, I was decidedly underwhelmed. They were delicious and easy-drinking but nothing innovative enough for a fine craft cocktail drinking crowd. Its best if you are looking for a fun night with margarita adjacent drinks that can be slammed.Theres nothing wrong with that. Its a fun little bar. I would go back with some friends as a second or third stop of the night, or for an after work celebration. The lighting is a little much and harsh to the eyes. I would want to go back to try the food.Its just not remotely close to the title of no. 2 best cocktail bar of north america.

    I think I’m just the wrong demographic for this bar. If you can get a booth, then it’s a very magical experience.     Came here this week for some tacos and drinks. The tacos were delicious and the drinks were really good with unique flavors that reminded me of Ghost Donkey (miss that place!).     We went on a Thursday, the place was full but fortunately we only waited 10 minutes. The place is a a new style of Mexican - American cocktail bar and you get the sense from the time you enter. Great design and lighting, also the music volume was right on point.     Had such an incredible experience here on Sunday night! 12/10Ive never walked into a place and instantly felt so at home or like I was family - and it was all thanks the staff! We were immediately greeted by Michael, who was so kind and helpful. He came back to check on us, walked us through the menu, and gave us wonderful recommendations!Stephanie, the general manager, also came by to introduce herself and told us the story behind the restaurant and its creator (Nacho). She explained the main goal behind the team is to encapsulate the welcoming, comforting, and friendly energy of Mexican American culture from the moment you walk in.We also got to meet Leslie, who also came by to introduce herself when she took over service of our table. Stephanie also invited us to come back the next day to meet Nacho himself. By the end of the night everyone was up and dancing, including the bar tenders!Still thinking about our experience here and it fills my heart with warmth! It felt like home and I cant wait to go back!
