    My first time ever coming to Taboo. I saw the place on Instagram and the atmosphere is far better in person. The hostess Bella was so kind, considerate, and courteous. She made my friend and I want to come back. She let us know all of the specials and showed us the belly dancing. She represents the brand excellently and I will return!

    I came for the first time and it was happy hour. It was small but BEAUTIFULLY decorated. My waitress was Bella. She was so sweet and very informative. She gave great drink and hookah suggestions even though she doesn’t consume alcohol! Make sure you visit and ask her!

    This place was one of my favorite spot while visiting New York for the weekend. The staff is amazing. Big thanks to Bella. Her service was excellent!! Bartenders vibes are hilarious. We went there twice since we loved the service. Prices are ok, they offer a good happy hour deal, a little extra ice but still nice drinks. I totally recommend this place.

    So I stumble upon an establishment on Steinway street and as soon as I walked in I felt a weight off my shoulders, the ambiance was incredibly light and sexy, dim lit, the manager greeted us with a warm welcome! My server Andre’s was absolutely exquisite. He made me and my husband comfortable and was well knowledgeable about the menu. I felt like I had known him forever, he brought us to a new level of customer satisfaction!!It was him guiding us through our meal and craft cocktails that created and excellent night that I will never forget, after tonight it isn’t the restaurant but the individual that guides and attends throughout it, that makes the entire experience….with all things said ask for Andre’s! Also he’s georgous haha

    I love coming here because of the ambiance and just good vibes all around. On my last visit, Sunny delivered great service as well as the rest of the staff. He was very welcoming and attentive, offered me and my friends to play some games and even mentioned to me about the happy hour that was going on at the time. Definitely will be back again!

    Went to Taboo for the first and had a wonderful time. I want to thank our server Arianna for making our experience very unforgettable. She was super attentive courteous and polite. Her recommendations were excellent and everyone in my party from my cousins to my aunts felt beyond welcomed like VIPs. If you are ever in Steinway and just want a drink or a place with great ambiance check out Taboo and ask for Arianna- you won’t regret it.

    First time at taboo and I had an amazing experience . The service was great and the bartender Bryan made the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life . He was very friendly and very attentive . I didnt have to wait more than 3 minutes for my drink . He made the night worth while !! I will definitely be returning next weekend !

    Taboo is a spot my mom and i can catch up at. We love the happy hour drinks. Our favorite server is arianna she’s very attentive and always checks in. She really improves the vibe. We’ve been coming since June and i can confirm this is THEEEE SPOT. they play the tunes, have good food, good drinks and free coal refills for the hookah

    I have been here 3x .. my fiancé and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Always a good vibe, great drinks, and their waiter Alpha is AWESOME! He has great customer service. Each time we’re there he ensures we’re well taken care of and honestLy he’s a big part of why we keep coming back!

    Enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. The ambiance was warm, the place was clean. Vibes were chill and calm. They were playing throwback songs from 2010s, which was nice. The Hookah was decent as well. (Priced fairly) Service was nice and attentive. Can’t say much for the food, but the cocktails were delicious (priced a bit expensive for what they were, but that’s normal). Overall I had a pleasant time here. If you are looking for a more young crowd and chill atmosphere, I highly recommend!

I came on Friday at 8:30pm and it was packed, so Marayana suggested I wait because the place was vibe. I was about to leave and she found me seat. She was right about the place being a vibe. I stayed from 8:30pm to 11pm because the place had vibes, aesthetic, good music, and $20 hookah! The busboy David was attentive! I’ll be back because this place is a hidden gym!

He was super attentive and really knew his stuff when it came to mixing drinks—each one was spot on and tasted amazing!     Thanks to Bryan, the bartender, I had an amazing experience at Taboo Hookah Lounge in Astoria, Queens. His service was top-notch! Bryan was attentive, and friendly, and made some of the most delicious drinks Ive ever had. He knows how to craft the perfect cocktail. Ill be coming back for more.
