    Amazing STEELERS Backers Bar in Manhattan! It was absolutely packed to the walls with people watching the game. That didnt stop this family of 5 Die Hard STEELERS fans from sticking around in a standing area and ordering the sampler plater and an order of hot wings and BBQ wings. The food was hot crispy and delicious! Beer was cold and crisp!

    This is the main bar for Steelers fans in NYC. We went to watch a game there. Myself and 17 y/o son. The pub is small and there was standing room only. But what an atmosphere 👍👍👍 it was great fun - it was loud, the punters were excited and the bar owner played lot of music in between to push the atmosphere even further. We eventually snaffled a stool and shared it for the night. A real NY bar experience- serving staff were great too. Cannot recommend enough.

    We had my boyfriends 60th birthday here and it was AMAZING, a great place for a fun event. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was high energy and fun all night long. 10/10 recommend for your next party!

    Love, love, love this bar! Such a great ambiance and the staff are lovely! All very friendly and there’s definitely a community feel. Lots of TVs for live sport and not too loud so you can actually have a conversation!

    Perfect place to catch a Steelers game. Plenty of TVs at all angles. Great staff. Chicken Caesar salad was surprisingly good. Get there plenty of time before kickoff if you’re trying to secure a table or spot at the bar, though you’ll still find standing space otherwise

    Traveling from Virginia and being in NYC for the Steelers-Chiefs game on Christmas Day (we are Buffalo Bills fans, so we were Steelers fans for this game) we wanted somewhere fun to watch. We found Hibernia after a google search for a Steelers bar and went. Tristan immediately greeted us upon entering and made us feel like regulars! What a great Irish Pub!! Perfect Guinness drafts and Tristan was amazingly attentive, hospitable and friendly. All the Steelers fans welcomed us (Especially Ellen -LOL) and we had a great time. The only thing that would have made it more perfect would have been if the Steelers had won. Thank you Tristan and everyone at Hibernia for a great day and for making us feel at home. We will return the next time we are in the City!

    We visited the place based on other recommendations, and despite their A/C problems we had a wonderful time.It was great watching Wimbledon on their big TV, sipping beer, munching on their sampler platter and spotting the neighborhood regulars.If you want to try one dish only, I highly recommend their jalapeno stuffed peppers - they are unique and delicious!Also to know: onion soup is not served in summer 🌞

    Fabulous neighbourhood bar. We were welcomed like old friends despite it being our first visit. Comfortable big tables, decent food and good beer choices. Lovely friendly and fun atmosphere. They didnt even mind that all four of us had laptops out and were hammering through work. Also, 80s cheese playing on the TVs. Brilliant.

    Amazing atmosphere and service. Staff is friendly and inviting. Went during the St. Patricks Day Parade and its a bit of a walk from the parade route, but definitely worth it :)

    Visiting from TX. Had the fish and chips which were outstanding. The fish batter was nice and crispy and the fries were thick and amazing. Cool atmosphere and big screen TV for watching sports.

    Came here in March 2019. I had emailed them in advance hoping they would show a Scottish Football match. They put the Hibs game on the big screen for me and the staff were brilliant. Very good pub, the food and beer were great.

    A neat little Irish bar in the middle of the city’s attractions. Sports was playing in the tv’s. I came here for a few drinks. I had wine and chicken wings, fish and chips. The wings were delicious. The atmosphere is fun.

    My wife and I just returned from a trip to NYC and stumbled up on HBHC our first night. Ate dinner , enjoyed the beer and whisky, but mostly enjoyed the company from Aidan, Eddie, Jeff, and the other bartenders. They made us Floridian transplants from SC feel like part of the neighborhood. They knew us by name every night afterwards and we met many great people in the bar this week. Went every night we were there and cannot wait to come back.

    Tafoya chicken sandwich and torch ipa. By far the best chips (fries) I’ve ever had in NYC- the grilled chicken was supremely cooked and still mouth-wateringly tender to eat. I’ll be back to have this again and explore more on the menu !!

    10/10, love coming here! First time to NYC and this place was recommended to us. We have been there every night for our vacation with zero regrets. Try their Potato Skins & Wings, both are delicious! The beer is spot on and the bartenders are even more spot on! We enjoy our visit with our new friends, Eddie, Jeff, Sean, & Aidan! Thank you guys for giving us an awesome time and awesome drinks!

    Awesome Steelers bar in Manhattan. My wife and I were in town and the Steelers were playing the Jets on Sunday Night Football. We had a blast at Hibernia! The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was even better!

    We had a bit of an impromptu meet-up here before a concert nearby. Roughly 25 of us just basically showed up and crashed this place and could not have possibly been made to feel more welcome. Not only was the food good, but the staff was very attentive making sure nobody was waiting for drinks and empty dishes were out of the way immediately. They even went above and beyond by taking several group photos and as an extra bonus threw music on by the band we were waiting to see. Nobody asked for this. They just did it for us. You can tell the people who run this place really take pride in their guests feeling taken care of. I will make a point to stop in here whenever back in the area.

    My mom moved into the area a few years ago, and I visit Hibernia for a nightcap when visiting sometimes. I also like to catch NFL games at the bar. The staff is always friendly, and they have well-priced drinks. The pour a good Guinness as well, which is always appreciated. I havent tried the food here, but I need to.

    When people ask me what the best Irish pub in Manhattan is, this is the place I tell them to go. A great pint of Guinness, good Irish fair, and good people. What more can you ask for?I recommend the bangers and mash but they do make a great chicken sandwich as well.I go here often

    We went here on St Pattys which was either a mistake or a one-of-a-kind experience based on your tolerance level of drunken crowds of people in green. Was pretty fun if youre down to party. Normally the place is much more chill and its long been one of my favorite bars in the city.

    For some very accidental reason I rated this great place with one star! No way. This place is not only onwed by great friends, but you would feel like a friend there even if it is your first time. Great energy, fantastic hospitality and a fantastic selection of draft beer. I am so happy to name Hibernia my local bar. One star? No way! 5 my friends. I will be back soon for a great time! 🍺🍺🍺

    This place was great. I stopped by here with a bunch of friends and we were able to get quickly seated and served. Overall, the staff was friendly and made jokes with us. I felt like I was on an episode of Cheers. The food is so-so, but it is cheap, and its bar food, so I dont set my expectations super high. All and all, a good experience.

    First time in Hells Kitchen, first stop we made, it became a daily and nightly pop in...staff was incredible, food was great and the beer selection was awesome. Highly recommend HB when in NYC. Cant wait to get back

    My friend and I happened upon this bar because we were looking for a place to play darts. There is a certain magic about it. I think what it is, is that New York can seem like an impersonal city sometimes but this bar has a warmth that I havent experienced elsewhere. Even though im an Eagles fan I can appreciate them at least repping the Keystone state! Jen was fantastic and we will make sure to make this a regular spot when we come back to visit the city!

    First off... superstar service to the brunette waitress who hooked me up with stools one Steelers game while I was on a date!!! As a native Pittsburgher, I can say that Hibernia is the best Pittsburgh sports bar in NYC. Other Pittsburgh bars make you compete for sound when other events or sports teams are playing. This is a critical detail for me as I HATE listening to another game while my team is playing. They had a Rangers flag up one time I came in but it has since been removed. If I see it again Im knocking this rating down to 4-stars ;)

    I am a steeler fanatic living in NJ with limited access to catching out of market games. I stumbled onto Hibernia and I am so happy I did. The food is plentiful and very well prepared, the drinks have good kick to them and the ser ice and atmosphere cant be beat. HERE WE GO STEELERS... HERE WE GO!!!

    Found Hibernia by accident, and so glad I did! The fair is authentic Irish, we had the bangers & mash and the fish & chips both delicious and straight out of Ireland. Didn’t order cocktails, but the variety of Irish whiskey is impressive.Definitely stop in for a Tullamore Dew 15, so worth it!

    The bartenders took exquisite care of myself and my friend when she was on a bad date and the date was mean to her. We went outside to decompress and multiple members of the waitstaff checked on us multiple times. Ive never felt safer anywhere. Thank you Hibernia team.

    Most versatile bar in Hells Kitchen; definitely a staple if you like super casual pubs. Quiet in the late lunch/early dinner hours, loud at game time, but almost never so packed that you wont find a spot. Great apps and shepherds pie.

    What a great place to hang out!Popped in on our first night in NYC, we werent sure what to expect but were greeted with a warm welcome so we decided to have a few beers and some food, the food was excellent and there was a large selection of beers. Steffi (I think, sorry if I got that wrong!!!), was an excellent bar maid and very chatty, which made us feel at ease.So much so that we went back on our final night for a goodbye dinner! Again the service was great and Steffi remembered us (unusual as in England they dont!) and remembered our drink order.The atmosphere was great, both nights we went the football was on and we were treated to a proper NYC bar experience.It is a cool place to hang out alone or with mates, it does get crowded early (unsurprising), so if you want a seat at the bar, or a table, get there early and start on a few pints of the Mermaid!!Excellent.

    I love this bar. Texas Longhorn friendly and Irish. Perfect for people like me. The staff was top notch. I was told to go here by a friend years ago and now when I travel to New York, this is a MUST spot. Prices are good, drinks are great, and the food is wonderful traditional Irish delights. It has a neighborhood bar feel but also very welcoming to non regulars and out of towners. They make you feel like your one of the gang. I high recommend dropping in for a drink and a bite.

    The last stop of our last night staying in Hells Kitchen . Friendly and hospitable bartenders with really tasty pub fare. I cant remember the last time I ordered Potato Skins, but they were freaking delicious . Full bar and lots of beer on draft and in bottles. Low key neighborhood style pub with Tvs for sports and making new friends.

    One of my favorite bars to go to in NYC midtown. The food is actually pretty good, wings are super spicey heads up.     I enjoy watching EPL soccer on early Saturday afternoon at this place. It has a very laid back, homey vibe, multiple screens and tons of Irish rugby paraphernalia hanging on walls and ceilings. EPL is always shown on a very large screen in great picture and sound quality. Bar food is very tasty and fresh. Tap beer selection is average, rather basic (Id give it a 5-star rating if it had more beers).

    Hibernia Bar is a great bar and to my surprise, although it took a long time to come out, their cook kicks out some very good food, which I’m surprised isn’t featured more in their advertising. Worth the wait comes to mind. Drinks were okay, but not consistent in pours/taste during multiple rounds of drinking. However, the non-pretentious atmosphere with plenty of local neighborhood people combined with normal, non-tourist gouging prices, and delicious food made me really like this place.
