    Karaoke, good price. You can hear a little bit of the other rooms in between songs but not a problem at all.If youre here for a long time and youre young, you should wear ear protection. Same as every concert. Remember, tinnitus is permanent and never goes away.

    My favorite part of Sing Sing Ave A is the fun I have with my friends but the second part is the BEST staff!!! It was my birthday and Mark made sure I had the best time and was a very gracious host. He personally made my special day super memorable! Sing Sing Ave A is one of the best parts about visiting East Village!

    Jules has some of the best service ever!!! She was so above and beyond for our really needy birthday group. She facilitated a wonderful time for our group.!!!     ALWAYS packed, and for good reason. This place is a blast. We have the time of our lives every time we come here for girls night. The rooms are decently sized, the equipment is in good shape, awesome selection of music. I love the ease of the tablet on the wall to help you find and queue up music. They give you warnings when the time is up, and are very friendly.

    Absolutely not what I expected. Dirty, dingy and dank. The Karaoke rooms did not seem to make a difference, as the music was so loud in each of them, that you couldnt enjoy the music in your own room. Very low-level.

    Sing Sing Ave A is the perfect combo of karaoke and dive bar.Drinks are cheap and the staff is quick and friendly.Doesn’t matter if you’re a great singer or the worst, this place is free of judgement, so get in there and sing your heart out!Highly recommend for special events but also just nights out on the town.

    Flew over to NYC from Austria and was welcomed with open arms at this place. The handsome English guy (Mark)was very accommodating and pushed the boat out for us. Would highly recommend the happy hour.

    We stayed a few hours and it turned out to be over $100. It had a cool club vibe. You have to open the bathroom stall door to turn around. Thats the vibes. They didnt have a lot of the songs I wanted but I feel like they could add them upon request for the next visit. The rooms were not sound proofed. I think the audio equipment was a little buggy ie volume control on the stereo and mics. But the decor was relaxing and the seats comfortable. Cant wait to come back next time Im in New York! Very memorable!

    Great atmosphere, great service, and a great time! I celebrated my birthday here this weekend with 10 friends and we were all well taken care of by the servers and bar staff. There was a slight hiccup when the bar realized they’d overbooked our time slot and asked us to shift our reservation time, but they offered a substantial discount to compensate for this minor inconvenience. After a misunderstanding of how this discount would be applied, we were well taken care of by Drew, the manager. He went above and beyond to make sure that their promises were honored. Fantastic experience despite the minor confusion. We will be back!

    We had a group of 6 and rented out one of the private rooms. While we had a blast, the room was small and got hot very quickly, so I recommend wearing layers if you go in the winter. Other than that, the service was excellent, the song choices ranged from oldies but goodies to very current songs and the method of choosing songs was simple and convenient for all to use. We did comment that some props would make it more fun, but they werent necessary. The womens room was very clean, which I appreciated. We were also fascinated by the ceiling in our room (see photo below). Highly recommended and clearly a favorite as it was busy from the moment we walked in for our reservation and even busier when we left 2 hours later.

    We rented a private room to sing karaoke. It was a lot of fun. You could order drinks from the bar. The bar waiter will bring the drinks to the room. The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly. You are able to bring in your own food, or order from one of the companys preferred restaurant. The prices are not cheap. During certain times, you could sit at the bar and participate in karaoke, with a 1 drink minimum. When we were at the bar, 2 of the people had beautiful voices. Some were not that great. But all in all, it was a fun evening. I would do it again. Credit cards are accepted for the room and drinks with the room.

    What more could you want for karaoke? Prob 20+ rooms that accomodate all sizes, nice setups, cheap drinks, and friendly staff. They also do live karaoke from the main bar if you want to win or lose the crowe over.

    Can’t say enough good things about Sing Sing! From getting a shot when scouting the place to atmosphere day off, we had a blast! Mark was very accommodating; great place to have a birthday party!!My only suggestion would be a dedicated server for rooms only. We rented at happy hour rate (4-8pm), but by seven it was difficult for Marks team to work the room and crowded weekend bar. Should have more staff on Saturdays.Food is BYO. Not bad but worth keeping in mind!

    This place is a pillar of the neighborhood, i’ve seen movie stars and singers come in all the time its a real new york experience.The drink pours are generous and the vibes are good. The staff is always accommodating and are happy to get to know you and make you feel welcome. You can bring a lot of people here at once in the pvt rooms and you can get wild. My bill is always better than i think. Maybe they’ll serve hard seltzer soon if you nag them more.

    This place has a mix of open-mic karaoke and private rooms which is pretty uncommon. You can choose if you wanna mess around at the bar with other people or get one of the private rooms. Which are fairly reasonably priced. Song selection is good, and if you show up during happy hour the drinks are super cheap.

    I love karaoke and sing sing is such a good time that I went twice in one week!I enjoyed both the private room experience and singing at the main bar.Not a huge selection of beers but full shelf of liquor and friendly bartenders.Songs cost $2 each at the bar so it can get quite pricey if you keep putting in song after song (like I did).

    This spot opens early and has a great happy hour special. $4 beers come with a song card at the bar. Bartenders are great and attentive. The place is a little on the shabby side phisically, especially the bathroom. As for the private rooms, I find the common karaoke practice of charging per person per hour odd. Why does the same room cost more when more people are in it?

    Amazing time. Love the bartender woman with long hair (sorry I’m bad with names) she was awesome. Gave us the run down of the prices and fees, showed us the room gave us our mics and showed us how to use the pad and how to order drinks! Loved it. We had a blast. My bro and I had my kid who is a minor and they have it set up so you are def out of there by 8pm which they let you know about and makes sense so I appreciate the safety feature. Again, the bartender was fast and friendly bc we didn’t have to wait for anything and very transparent! Great place and good prices

    Tip your bartenders that will pour heavy depending on their mood, tip your bartenders if you want your song to actually get played or bumped up, tip your bartenders if you want service in general. Good times, always a strange melting pot of characters in here. Service gets annoying when half of the bartenders seem more interested in you tipping then actually offering good service. Still, very fun.

    How can you have a bad time at karaoke? Lots of fun song and drink. Friendly staff, too. Some of the songs didnt work (but thats the apps fault). Be prepared theres no food, but there are a dozen restaurants within a block.

    The drinks here arent too expensive, which is great if youre the kind of person that needs a drink or two to loosen up before doing any karaoke.The private rooms for groups have a really cool theme or asthetic to them. Theres also the option of singing by the bar. Theres​ a huge selection of music to choose from. The system runs via finding a song your want to play on a tablet and adding it to the queue. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the karaoke app was a bit sluggish, making it annoying to use, especially if youre prone to making typos.

    This cash-only spot (except for room charges and drinks added to room charges) gets the job done if youre a group looking to sing your hearts out in a private room. Sure, everyone else will hear you singing if theyre walking by, but when its a full house, youre practically incognito. The bar serves beer, wine and Korean vodka, no hard liquor. Staff is friendly, space is clean.

    Great place to get your karaoke on. Get a private room in the back for 2 or more people or show off your skills at the bar in front. Fridays and Saturdays can get busy so I recommend making a reservation if youre getting a private room.

    Great place for a party. If you have 15+ people, I recommend booking the larger party room, as we had 12 in a smaller room and it was pretty packed. But the service is great, the karaoke system is one of the easiest Ive ever used, and they let you bring in your own outside food and supplies (no outside beverages). Bar has a $20 minimum per ticket, and the happy hour rate on the room was $5 per person per hour til 8PM with tax and a 20% gratuity, so we spent $150 for 12 people. Id be back here to host a birthday party again for sure.

    I’ve gone to Sing Sing several times. It’s always a fun atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks. A few weeks ago, I had my birthday party in one of the rooms. The bartender more than took care of us and made the whole night incredible, even with us being drunken nutcases and ordering drinks every 5 seconds. I would absolutely recommend having a party or a friendly get together just to sing some songs.

    Rented a private room and had an amazing evening with 9 friends. It wasnt a perfect experience but they definitely made up for it with their service.Good/bad: The main bar is very crowded and its more of a divey atmosphere than karaoke spots in K-town, but we spent our time in a private room so it didnt bother me much. If you like divey, then its great! Everyone in the main room was having a great time!Good:- It was very easy to make and change our reservation - after submitting the form online, I was able to communicate with them via phone, text and email.- Song selection totally met our needs.- They allowed us to extend the reservation an hour.- They comped us a half hour to make up for the check-in process, so that was really nice.Bad:- The check in and check out process was very hectic and slow- Initially, I didnt love the room - smell of cleaning products, not enough seats for 10 of us. But ultimately it didnt bother us!

But there are also jerks there, I didnt hear clearly but from others feedback they mocked my songs because I didnt sing English songs if I understood correctly, I only heard this is bar and blabla, they ruined my night, but the place is ok if you want to sing some songs.

    This is one of the few places in town where you can sing karaoke by the drink(at the bar with everyone), and not solely by the hour in a private room.Better to go here on quieter nights... Well not quiet but less crowded. The queue can reach over an hour on a Friday night! If you actually want to sing come on a week night or get a private room.Either way, there are really good cash prices. I just dont like the credit card tab minimum.

    Fantastic place! Went with a group of five on a whim on my 21st birthday. Great music selection, the rooms are somewhat small but if you ask, they can turn on the AC in the room. Staff was very kind! Definitely going back!

    One of my fav karaoke spots! They have rooms in the back for private sessions but it much more fun to sing at the bar. Bartenders are heavy handed which helps with liquid courage. Good vibes.

    Attended a surprise birthday party in a private room at Sing Sing Karaoke with 20 people. They allowed us to bring in our own food. So with flowing drinks for several hours most of us sang, which was very entertaining.

    My partner loves karaoke. Even though I dont sing into a mic often, I love singing along. I just dont have the lungs to project well. We checked out the Avenue A location and had a blast. Great song selection. More importantly, the crowd had decent taste as far as Im concerned.A few weeks later we visited the St. Marks location. It was well lit and nicer inside. We walked in to the crowd singing songs from Disneys Moana (I think). We waited a few songs but the taste that night just didnt fit our crowd; my friends visiting from Florida wanted to sing some Killers, Outkast, etc. so we eventually left and headed to the Avenue A location. Its more dive-y here, which I prefer when combined with drunkenness and karaoke. My group immediately felt at home and started requesting songs. Two for two so far.

    I have been here in a room and at a bar, both times were great and the bar tender was lovely. Had a great time. Even if you just want to belt out a tune by yourself other patrons will support you!

    Been here 2 times. What I love about this place is that they have a private section and a bar section. The bar is where youll find me singing all your favorite songs and acting a fool. Staff is dop and awesome vibe !!!
