I’m going to start out this review by saying that the nachos are worth the visit in and of themselves. Probably some of the best nachos I’ve had in a couple of years. It tasted like there was homemade tortillasWe sat at the window in the girls behind the bar were incredibly quick friendly, and checked up on us several times.The bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty of hilarious writing on the walls to read.We went during happy hour, and the drinks for a reasonably priced, and the Irish coffee was excellent for a hot drink on a cold day

Chose to visit this place on our way from Museum of Natural History back down to Grand Central. Jackie was the most pleasant, efficient server. Her recommendations for our party were great—Shepherd’s Pie, Fish’n’Chips, and Black Jack burger. Highly reccomend.

Super nice staff in a tucked away spot in midtown. I had 2 mango margaritas that were yummy and strong! I loved the mozzarella sticks too, great cheese pull. Plus we watched the Olympics while we were there so it’s definitely a great chill spot

Loved it. Great place to grab a drink and a bite. Sports bar vibes, and the ambiance was fantastic. Great service, everyone was nice and polite. I enjoyed my meal, and I found the pricing very reasonable considering the proximity to tourist spots (Time Square, Central Park and plenty more iconic spots). Hopefully Ill have the opportunity to go back. Cheers!

What a fabulous place! Miguel the waiter is simply the best (RIP Tina 😢) He is so great at what he does, very engaging, warm and helpful. Hes the reason I keep coming back. Oh and the food too. My favorite is the Stir Fry Shrimp option. I have chicken instead. The sauce is delicious. Its just that good. And so fresh, plus the presentation. The staff are so friendly, wonderful vibe. Very reasonable. Its a must folks 👍👍

Keep in mind that I am pretty picky so I dont give out 5 stars for nothing! I expect a lot when Im out and boy does Cassidys deliver. My husband and I hosted a group of 20 post NYC marathon for our daughter who ran. Everyone sort of straggled in at different times...some ordering food and all ordering drinks. This place took care of us with such ease...like we were the only people there and the place was packed! They run it like a good old fashion Irish Pub with that the more the merrier charm and truly make everyone feel welcome. Burgers are delicious, great beer selection and just a good time all around. Youre welcome!

This place is a hidden gem within NYC. My husband is a massive Liverpool fan and we asked if they could show the game, the owner was incredibly helpful and told us to sit wherever and he would put the sound and the game on whatever TV we wanted. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and helpful and just a breath of fresh air. We were on honeymoon and the owner Seamus was lovely and kindly gifted us drinks and provided recommendations for NYC. The drink menu was excellent and cannot fault the place. 10/10. Would recommend.

The Crew and I happened upon this place by chance as we were walking around celebrating my birthday weekend in February. This was a legit and awesome pub. The person who greeted us and served us was genuinely funny, helpful, patient and all around fun guy. The food was great with good portions and the drinks were varied not just one note. Only complaint was that they had 1 pool table which we couldnt use since people were hogging it for the night (not that it would hurt the rating cause we had fun regardless).Note: For the guys, I highly recommend checking out their restroom. They keep it amazingly clean, and they have a special picture for you to be entertained by regarding the bathrooms of Ireland. Priceless!

Had dinner at Cassidys Pub and really enjoyed the atmosphere and location. The staff was overall friendly, though one of the waitresses seemed to be in a bit of a rush and wasnt as attentive as we would have liked.On the food front, we tried the Cod Fish Sandwich and Cassidys Burger, both of which were tasty. However, the portion size of the sides could be revisited. Overall, a good experience with minor areas for improvement.

The drinks are excellent, I think the Cassidys beer is just the best thing here. You have to get it. Prices are also very low at less than $8 for the beers and the food is so great, I had a meatloaf recommended by the bartender. What a great find in the heart of NYC. After walking all over in the freezing cold through in South Manhattan and then Central park we were ready to warm up and this was perfect in the mid afternoon. There were actually 7 mozzarella sticks and they were yummy. I loved the tiny salad that came with it. A nice surprise. The brews were really good on a cold day. We will definitely be back to visit when we are in NYC.

Great sports bar and good food. Not sure why all bars need to be branded Irish in New York. Theres nothing really Irish about this place (thankfully) except for a few lame pictures and wall artifacts. Come on New York.. a good American pub is a good pub.

Watermelon frozen margarita was super strong in the best way! Was exactly what I was needing! Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap with fries was delicious as well. They cant individualize checks within a group, however (we had 4 people who ordered various priced items), so be prepared for one person to pay the check or they can split the entire bill into 4 ways (in our situation). Not everyone is a family that will be on one check, so thats rather annoying when you cant pay for what you specifically ordered yourself.

We spent a week in NYC. This eatery was a block from our hotel. The staff were great, it was clean. cute and close. Food was wonderful and reasonable.. this will be our go to restaurant in midtown. A true hidden gem. Try it before everyone finds out about it. It was spacious and everything you would expect from a Irish pub.
