    As a family of Nottingham Forest fans in NYC we were obliged to attend the Boxing Day game against Spurs. Arrived at 9am for a 10am KO, greeted by the landlord (top guy from Louth) and settled down with a Guinness. Food was really good , we had the Irish and American breakfasts which were quality. All the Premier League games were on with one end of the bar Forest and the other West Ham, both who rolled out winners, it was a great atmosphere.

    Its probably the best ⚽️ bar in New York and definitely one of the best sports bars in the US.Fantastic party atmosphere during World Cups, Euros, Copa America, and whenever one of the home teams plays - its especially fun for Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona games.The setup is great - you can view multiple screens from any spot, which is great for weekend matchdays, Champions League days, March Madness, NFL gameday, or whenever there are multiple games going on simultaneously.Theres a large selection of beers on tap, a full bar, and excellent bar food - the burgers, Jameson wings, and fries are imho among the best in the genre.The service is professional and friendly, which adds to a phenomenal atmosphere.

    My go to spot to watch soccer in New York. Atmosphere is always great. Food is good. Drinks reasonable priced. For big gamesI’d recommend to be at the bar at least 2h before or make a reservation. Lines can get pretty long.

    All ok. But not really the best wings i had so far. Small plates. The staff was friendly and we got out drinks and food as ordered and pretty fast. Several different tv screens show a variety of different sports. There are tables on the in and outside.

    What a vibe. Came here for the El Classico game with the lads and had a blast. The service was slow but that’s expected during big games. The whole vibe of Barca fans is amazing.Also they got some mean fries here.

    What a Great Sports Bar!Electric atmosphere when the games are on. We watched the MU vs Everton game. It was a fantastic experience doing so at Smithfield Hall! Fans egging both sides on amid happy hour beers and wines, as well as $10 lunch specials was excellent!If youre looking for good food / drinks only, this might not be it. But if youre looking for a sports bar to watch a game, this is it. There are so many screens! Wherever youre sitting, youll probably get a good view of the game.Food was good; 4-star. Calamari was crispy and light, tofu stir-fry was yummy albeit a little on the sweet side.Overall - a great experience.

    Really cool sportsbar in the heart of NYC. It’s an incredible experience going into a crowded bar at 9:30 in the morning. The bartender is very polite and since there are a lot of TVs around it’s easy to support your favorite soccer team (FC Köln) even in NYC!

    Crazy place to catch a beer and watch a game! been there to FC Barcelona game to watch with all the barcelonistas that has an official Penya in there, the atmosphere was awesome and the people are very kind! the prices are good as well as the service!

    We were in NYC for the long weekend and this was by far the best bar Ive been to in the city. We came multiple times and every time, it was awesome. Every bartender we had was friendly, willing to chat, and gave awesome recommendations. I wish we had gotten his name, but the older Irish bartender was by far our favorite! Awesome guy tbh.

    Stopped here while walking through the city. Came during a Man City Football game and the energy level was awesome!Got me personally, the most important thing was how they resolved an issue. I ordered a Spaten lager and it didn’t taste right to me(it’s one of my favorite beers). The bar staff not only relaxed my beer, but investigated why it didn’t taste right(which they agreed) and changed the keg.To a beer lover like me, that type of detail and service is important.

    Great bar to watch football (the one you play with your feet). This seems to be the go to place for the FCB supporters, both of them, FC Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. Was glad to find the home of the FC Bayern München Fan Club New York to watch Bundesliga football.The place serves a good selection of beers including German Bitburger (in a can) and more importantly Paulaner Hefeweizen among a couple of local beers.Been back recently after 2 years and happy to see they added Franziskaner Hefeweizen to their beer selection. Will be back again!

    I had an awesome time stopping here to watch the West Ham game during my trip to NYC, the NYC Hammers group definitely helped with the atmosphere since we were the biggest fan group in the place.     Great bar and the official supporters bar for the American outlaws NYC chapter. Came to see a US game and they had it playing on all the TVs. Be sure to get the candied bacon as its a must! We also had the Jameson wings and they were great too!

    Lived next to this bar for 8 years. Smithfield hall still reigns supreme as the best place to watch soccer/futbol in nyc. Definitely make reservations for big matches and be ready for a packed bar. This is where the Europeans in nyc go to see their teams !

    Loved the fact that it was a MUFC supporters bar! Go Man U.!! Food was great! Our experience was pretty damn awesome. Our waitress was great and our first bartender was too but there were 2 other women working behind the bar/kitchen that werent so friendly and thats the only reason for 4 stars on service.     A very spacious sports bar. The beer selection here is pretty good and the service was outstanding, very attentive. Minus one star though because the planters in the outdoor seating space are swarming with mosquitoes, something easily preventable with a little maintenance.

    I just love you, guys!!! My fifth visit after leaving from work to enjoy my draught Blue Moon and fried calamari my must have choices when coming your way! Great ambiance, great service, great location! Whenever you are in town, dont miss it! Even if the place is packed and you end being standing, youll have a great time being solo orwith friends.     If you love anything premier league, you have GOT to watch a game here! My boyfriend and I came here while visiting NYC to watch a Manchester United game and wow the amount of fans that came together to watch the game was amazing!! The atmosphere plus the amazing avocado toast and drinks was a 10/10 in my book! Only negative thing was the bouncer seemed a bit like he had an attitude.

    Chicken Katsu was really good. Very good onion rings as well. The ordering and putting a table on one tab was very difficult and had issues consolidating at the end of the night. The app allows you to make custom drinks but the waitress would not take custom orders so some confusion there as well.

    I do enjoy the atmosphere at Smithfield Hall. I have come into the city on a number of occasions to catch a Man United game here and it is always fun (once you learn how to time your entrance!) My advice is to arrive at LEAST 45 minutes before the game you intend to see if you want to secure a table and order some food. The tabbed out app is a nice feature, but as others have pointed out, their kitchen does run slow - ordering food before kickoff of a Premiere League game, expect to see your food somewhere around halftime. This is not necessarily a bad thing! -- especially if youre taking up a table for the duration of a game. Just be aware of the wait involved with food - drinks do come much more quickly. Food quality is generally quite good - not always perfect, but I have never regretted coming here because of it.

    This is a really great sports bar! There are tons of TVs and the staff is very accommodating about changing the channel so that your preferred game is in your sight line.The food is really good, and there are enough healthy options to keep me happy. (Im lo-carb and gluten free). My favorite is the chopped salad with grilled shrimp. Yum yum! There are plenty of other less healthy classic sports bar food options that all look great. Ive also had the pulled pork, which they are happy to do as a lettuce wrap for me.The cocktails are generous and well priced, and the staff is attentive and congenial. I will keep coming back!

    Came here for a Manchester United Game and had a nice time watching the game with other Premier League fans. We sat at the outdoor tables, but they have TVs set up on the windows so we were still able to watch. We liked that they have an app for all of the ordering so you dont have to wrangle any waitstaff - you can just order and your food or drink will show up! Our only complaint was that although everyone in our party ordered within a few minutes of one another on the app, our food came out over a range of 40 minutes. It may be that a lot of groups ordered around the same time, but the timing was definitely strange.

    Really good and fresh tasting cheeseburgers with fresh hand cut fries (included) and a brioche bun which we had nicely toasted. Also nice, crunchy and tasty thin cut sweet potatoe fries. Great atmosphere to watch sports, host events and great outdoor seating where sports can be watched as well on numerous TVs facing the windows in the front of the restaurant. Really nice, friendly and on point service too. Overall A+ place and definitely recommended 👌

    Smithfield is a very nice sports bar, good guinness and great atmosphere for the football(soccer). Man united and west ham main teams plus more.The staff are friendly polite and accomodating. The door staff are too very friendly and helpful.Service is prompt and of good standard, the food is very good. The bar as a whole is very clean.I love going here for the footy and look forward to more united victories.

    The food is pretty decent ~ but we just popped in for a quick visit to watch a ball game and grab some beer and munchies. The beer selection was decent, but predictable. Being from Florida, I wanted to try some local brews on draught, and while they have a good top selection (quantity-wise), they only had two local beers. The staff here was top-notch. Very friendly!

    September 11, 2021. Cristiano’s second debut for MUTD. What an atmosphere! I arrived 30 minutes before the match and the queue was forming a line almost to the next block. There were monitors outside with outside seating. Easy to order and the orders came promptly even though they were busy. Typical bar food but I was there to watch the match so my expectations were met. Its one of the best pubs Ive been to.

    I had never been here before and only went for a New York Red bulls even for rivalry week. Outside of all of the event decorations and other going on, which were nice, the bar itself is pretty solid. They had a good selection of bar eats, the beer selection was solid and the bartender was knowledgeable about the in house beers and friendly. I will be sure to go back again when I am in the area and need a drink or if I am not in the area but close enough and need a drink.

    Cool sports bar with a good atmosphere, great spot to catch a game. It’s most lively for soccer, but watching anything here doesn’t disappoint.     Some dang good fries. I like that its usually possible to grab a table here, though be aware that its an active sports bar, so its a little loud. Good prices on drinks, great selection of food for folks with some dietary restrictions in our party (vegetarian). Everything, from the pizza to the roasted veggies, was delicious in my opinion.

    I cant talk about the atmosphere during sport events because I went there when it was almost empty in the middle of the afternoon for lunch.But I have to say the food is awesome and the staff is really sweet and helping. I had ribs tacos which were absolutely delicious. I was astonished by how tasty it was! Same for the burgers. The quantity is also perfect (as a French I am not used to American huge portions). Prices are alright, I would even say rather cheap for NYC.It really was a nice surprise!

    I come to NYC from DC at least once a month for family. Always love popping into the city to my usual place Jack Dempseys but wanted to try something different. While my fiance was trying on her dress at Klinefields, I went off to go have a beer and watch some football. The wood interior was great and it was dimly light to my liking. Some may not prefer the lighting during afternoon which is why I gave it 4 stars. For events, I would suggest more light but the overall hospitality, food and drinks was on point. I will be back in the future.

    Barcelona la liga fans and EPL fans look no further this is hands down the best bar in NYC to watch futbol games with like minded legit fans. They are organized, great bar tenders and an abundance of TVs sectioned off for specific games. Come early for big games as seating while not limited big games attract more crowds and make it difficult to find a spot to sit if coming with a group. I travel from NJ to watch games thats how great the vibe is for a Barcelona fan and the NYC FCB Penas hub is here. Members get 10% off food and discounted Estrella/Modelo beer on game days. I personally enjoy the food too the short rib tacos and burgers are to die for.     Awesome pub to watch United. 4 stars because last weekend when United were playing City, I approached the corner of the bar (near the point of sale system) to ask if the fries on the counter were mine and watched as a waitress took a handful of fries (before I asked her if they were mine), closed them in her fist and then confirmed with the bartender that this order of fries was for me.

    Great atmosphere and even better service. We visited during our stay at Christmas in NYC and were looking for a lively pub to watch Premier League football. Kevin was absolutely brilliant! He was very welcoming, chatty and a fantastic host. We were blown away by the warm service and felt very much at home as if we were back in the UK. There are plenty of screens and a lot of space to enjoy various games. Overall, a great crowd and friendly environment. We would highly recommend Smithfield Hall for a social or quiet drink. We will definitely be returning in future!
