    Came here before a Yankee game and the place was rocking. Really fun place to be. Ok a standard beer was $10 but service was fast, friendly and the beers on ice. Got wings and they tasted pretty good. Couple of beers and wings, all set for the big game. Check it out.

    Waitress and bouncer were great. Cold ones keep coming. Price wasnt bad given what youre gonna get hit with in the stadium. Can just post up and look around. Good chance you aint getting in for first pitch.

    If you are a Yankee fan, this is a popular pre and post game hangout. I was with a large group and we couldnt get inside. But we did get a small table outside, and most of us hung around the sidewalk where servers got drinks. We did not order any food.

    This is probably one of the best gay bars Ive ever been to! Tons of guys and the music is incredible! Patrick Hernandez, Madonna, Abba, Erasure, Lipps Inc., Theyve even got the bathrooms labeled for tops and bottoms!!! Who knew?!?

    This place is an institution that is worth experiencing at least once. We went on a typical Yankees game Saturday afternoon and it was as crowded as expected. However, we were able to quickly get drinks at the bar several times. We were also able to find a place to sit outside. Of course, if the Yankees were playing better or it was near playoff time the situation would probably be a lot different. But I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit and will go back. It is quite literally on the way from the subway station and metro north so, give yourself a few minutes to check it out. Its worth it.Note: we did not eat food so no review of that

    Stan’s is the place to go if you are heading to a ball game at yankee stadium or otherwise find yourself in the south Bronx. For example, once upon a time (pre-covid) I had a court appearance at Bronx supreme and afterwords I went to Stan’s to hang as I waited for the game that evening. The yankee memorabilia that encompasses the establishment is second to none. It is, to say, a shrine to those 27 time champions, from the murals on the back wall to the photos plastered in the bar top. As a life long yankee fan it’s too good to be true, a heaven on earth. Stan’s is Eden in the Bronx. The bathroom situation is not ideal but the wade Boggs chicken sandwich is worth the price 2x. Service is extremely good despite the extreme pre and post game crowds. Now since covid featuring an outdoor street cafe…. Across from the real house that Ruth built….with iced cold beer!

    It’s the legendary pregame bar to go to before during or after Yankees games. I like the wraparound bar getting a drink is usually quick. It ain’t cheap but hey you need some drinks before you go into the stadium. Some cool decor it’s also open air which is nice.

    If your the the type of person who has been to the Cask N Flagon on your way to Fenway or stopped at Murphys Bleachers after leaving Wrigley, then Stans is the bar for you at Yankee Stadium. Stans is located in the heart of the 161th Street Business District(maybe say anchor of??), underneath the famous elevated 4 train and across from the footprint of where the real house that Ruth Built stood.As you walk up historic River Ave, hearing the shouts and noises of a gameday event at the Stadium, you notice the flow of people going in two directions. To the new Yankee Stadium and to what lies in what once was the shadows of the real house that Ruth built, Stans Sports bar. With the roar of the train above and the smell of peanuts, pretzels and hot dogs in the air as you walk closer you can hear the chants of Lets Go Yankees from the bar. Stans is an indoor bar with an outdoor on the street feel. There are no doors or windows to stop the flow of energy from the street to the bar and vice-verse.If what your looking for is wall to wall to Yankee fans, then there is no place like Stans. Always packed to capacity with fans watching one of 12 T.V.s, snapping pictures of famous Yankee caricatured on the walls or trying to guess the name of hundreds of pictures of ballplayers and ball parks on the bar top.     A must stop for adults who want a little partying after a Yankee game. Brief 5 min walk from the stadium. By the time you get there the lines will be long at the bar but it gets easier within 10 min. Loud rock music, peaceful reveling, fast and nice bartenders. Be prepared to stand when its packed. They also have seating adjacent to the sidewalk. May not be everyones cup of tea but we love it, especially after our team wins.

    Once again....the only place to stop before the Yankee Game. Brought my friend Frank down from Syracuse....not surprised he loved it. Owner is a friendly x tender that does a great job and always get a nod hello amongst the controlled chaos....cold beer great songs win or lose after the game too...

    Stans is my favorite spot to grab a drink before a Yankee Game. Staff is responsive, music is great and a manageable volume compared to Billys. The only problem (which isnt Stans fault) is it will make you think if how much the greatest team in American sports history has fallen from grace, and how much Brian Cashman has ruined your life (if youre indeed a Yankee fan). Once Cashman is fired, this will be an even greater place to celebrate this once great franchise.

    Legendary Yankees bar across the street from the stadium we saw the Yankees clinch the 2019 AL pennant and headed over to party all night long as we listened to Frank Sinatra sing New York over and over again!
