It’s a pretty good Irish bar for the neighborhood. They have a good happy hour for after work and I can see a group of offices that come by fairly regularly. The weight stuff is friendly and approachable and turn around your drinks really quickly too. They have a lot of space as well and if you want a private section, you can go into the back and they have a large table where you can have your own space. They let out that section for events and get togethers. Definitely recommend this place!

Great place to watch football. Nfl sunday ticket for anyone trying to watch out of network games. The guy we asked to change the channel for a packer game was very nice and overall service was great. Drinks are good and cheap as well. Only complaint were the food portions were way too small. We ordered the tater tots for $7 and it came out with exactly 7 tater tots. That seems a bit ridiculous to me. Would still come back, just dont come on an empty stomach.

What a great bar. The staff are amazing and the prices are very reasonable for NYC.We had the chilli beef and it was very tasty and good sized portions.If your a sports fan this bar is a must!!

Out-of-Towners! We wanted to find a bar showing the NOLA Saints game. We went to one bar & NOPE! We randomly walked around and stumbled upon Turnmill Bar with hopes. No Saints game 😕 BUT sat at the bar to regroup & get drinks. This one has a nice atmosphere. We could tell this place was just getting amped up for “game-day”. Regulars / Friends started showing up with jerseys on. My boyfriend asked our sweet bartender if they could change the TV to our game. My boyfriend even said we could move to a table so they dont have to change the TVs at the bar. (We do understand the gaints game will be more important than ours) The manager was AMAZING & willing to change the tv in front of us at the bar so we dont have to move. With me managing a sports bar myself, I was impressed!We ended up staying there through the whole game. Got more drinks and food. I highly recommend the Summer Grace, Espresso Martini and the Jessie’s Spring drinks. ALSO the wings! ❤️We will be back. Thanks for making our game-day perfect! We loved the atmosphere and felt like we found a gem of a regular neighbor style bar.❤️

A sports bar great for after work drinks. Two separate bars and areas that can be roped off for large groups. They have outside seating and multiple screens with games on. Bars are well stocked, cocktails and food are great. Service is attentive and fast.

Everton soccer fans, come here for games and sound on (outside seating included)! We enjoyed watching the game here. This is a nice, clean, well maintained and spacious bar upstairs, including a huge back room. The enclosed outdoor area is nice with the lights and a few TV too. Didnt get the food, just drinks but recommend for a laid back and spacious sports bar. Friendly and attentive service. Enjoy!

The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, with comfortable seating. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, and they had a great selection of beers on tap as well as a variety of cocktails and spirits.The food was also excellent - I highly recommend the buffalo wings and the burger. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good.Overall, I had a great time at Turnmill and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back place to grab a drink, some food and watch some sports.

This is a great experience if you have the chance to check it out. Its like a hole in the wall meets a unique and classy cultural experience at their Wednesday nights jams. I love coming out with my dancers friends, the band and house always treat us very well.Plus, there are plenty drinks (I had a hard cider that changed my life), clean and plentiful restrooms, and the music is played by high quality musicians.Sometimes some of the staff can be a little cranky, but by new york standards theyre absolute dolls!I had an amazing time at their 10 anniversary event.Cant wait to go back real soon!

This bar in a historic flatiron space is phenomenal. Alexa is of my favorite bartenders, great conversation and great pours! The jazz on wendsday is top teir. The only thing is they close at 12pm so get it in early. If your hungry definitely try the wings!

Came here back in October 2022, me and my boyfriend are big Everton fans and wanted to watch a league game. I found this bar and called ahead to ask would they be showing the game by any chance (even though NY time we knew it would be very early!) they said yes of course they show every game and to come on down. We did and had the best morning in NYC ever!! Staff were so polite and friendly- will definitely be returning from the UK!

Great sports bar, very large room, a few screens, large selection of spirits, Music was cool and never annoying or too loud. I like that a lot, wish more places had cooler music. I know its a matter of taste but most people dont like screaming and distorted guitars for more than a few notes at most in a song if at all.

Needed a spot to get a drink before my long bus ride. The bar was clean and well kept. The bartender was polite and got us our drinks quickly. All that said, amongst all the reasons to return, the main reason I am coming back is the security guard at the door. His professional and courteous nature was above and beyond. As we were leaving, our bag of food ripped, and everything inside fell to the floor. He immediately told us he would get us a bag to replace the broken bag. This was a kind and instantaneous reaction that was deeply appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit and well share this positive experience with our friends.Elio - ,1/10/2024

On a trip from liverpool we found this excellent bar. on the wall are a number of everton pics that are great unless you are a red😜the owner peggy was very friendly and a good blue 👍👍she helped us out with organising our coach to washington and sent us a round of drinks. if im ever back in new york i will defo come back and would recomend to any evertonians😁

Went here after catching a show at jazz standard across the street. Totally different vibe than thought would be. Looked like a cool bar from the outside. Inside dj was turning and music was loud and interesting mix. Good enough but not great place for talking and hanging with friends as music was def loud. Drinks were fine but nothing to write home about. Need a decent bar and in the area good choice.

Stopped in for a drink on the way home after a Sunday night football game -- seems like it might be a nice place to watch a game actually. The decor and mood was very inviting, lots of dark wood and soft lighting, and our bartender was very nice. The drink selection was nice and though prices were a little high they werent too crazy for midtown. The bathrooms were in good condition, but I remember thinking how funny they were because they reminded me of a high school bathroom, they didnt match the decor of the restaurant at all.

Lively vibe and good, rustic atmosphere. Disagree with the earlier comments about good beer selection. Many doesnt mean good. Chalkboard listing is unnecessary. They have the most popular 18 beers on the planet and the 2 most popular and tired local micros. Same thing a month ago. Rotate a few taps with current micros and Id stop in regularly. 2-stars at best if you overweight new/micro beer.

Met a friend here on a busy day I guess! Pretty unpredictable! One day you cant get in the door without being IDed, and even past that, hard to squeeze your way through the crowd. The next week I walked in and met my buddy at one of the many open bar stools. Regardless of capacity and crowd, its a great place with happy hour pricing available, and accessible drinks.
