    Exactly what it says it is. Modern Italian dining.Good selection of wine, drinks, starters and mainsPortions are good, taste is good. Branzino was 🤤Cacio E Pepe was a little overbearing. It’s okay for it to be a little bit less oily, and less pepper. Usually it’s less pepper, this was just a tiny tiny bit overdone.Back of the restaurant is huge and has lots of space for group dinner, private dining set up. Outside patio looks romantic for a date (ofcourse in summer). If you go here for a romantic set up, go with two. Then you’ll most likely seated in the front with the round tables and better interior design (vibe)Overall good!

    I’ve enjoyed dinner/lunch at Bottino’s numerous times and we decided to host my daughter’s bridal shower there.First: the food was fantastic! My entire table had the branzino- it was perfectly prepared.An entire table got the burgers and they were obsessed!Second: The service was perfectly attentive, from cocktails to setting up the tables, it was just great. Devon walked us through the event and times and it was great.Third: the settings, it feels like a winter garden!Lastly: Everyone loved it!!

    Just had an Awesssome lunch here for my friends birthday.Excellent selections of wines. My favorite is the Greco Bianco Tenuta del Conte! Perfect!The food was amazing and every plate looked beautiful!!For antipasti, we had the artichokes fried to crispy perfection, Burrata with poached pears and figs, Arancini with Robiola, and the Duck and Chicken parfait with chutney (soooo good!!!!).Then we had the Squid Ink Spaghetti with crab, Cappelletti with Sunchoke & Butternut squash, Bavette Cacio e Pepe, and pan seared Branzino. 👌🏼For dessert, we had the tiramisu, affogato and a vin santo.Service was excellent!!! Great ambiance and energy!! Rebekah and the team were on point. Pacing was perfect!!👏🏼👏🏼Chef David and team were awesome!!!🫶🏽What a perfect lunch! Thank you, Bottino team!!!🙏🏽

    We have booked Bottino as our wedding venue for the summer! Having tried their food, seen the space, and spoken to their events team, we feel so secure that we found a great spot.We did a lot of research on venues with outdoor spaces in NYC and Bottino beats them all! The space is gorgeous and the food is tasty, but all of it comes for a very reasonable price that is cheaper than everything else we found (that has an outdoor space).Also, for regular dining, the atmosphere is incredible. The garden has heaters, fans, and a retractable anti-rain covering, so you can enjoy the garden no matter what time of the year you go.If you like sweet cocktails, I strongly recommend the Bees Knees!

    Amazing Italian food and top notch service. They have a “private” area which is perfect for a group (I saw an engagement dinner challenging).Came here on a Sunday at 5:30pm and it was pretty empty. By 6:30pm it started to fill up.

    We got married at Bottino last year, so we came back for our first anniversary.We were seated outside on their covered patio. It was beautiful out there, with candles on the table and greenery surrounding us.We were served by Noel and Ashley - Noel served us at our wedding last year and he recognized us, so it was nice to see him again.To drink, we had the Highwire (espresso martini, essentially) and the Spicy Brambleberry Margarita. Both were amazing - you could taste the spice in the margarita.To eat, we had the porcini strip steak and the pasta alla Norma. The steak had a great crust on it and was cooked perfectly. The pasta was also amazing - obviously homemade - and I loved the eggplant in it.We ordered the cookie platter for dessert, and Noel brought us complimentary glasses of sparkling wine as an anniversary celebration.Both Noel and Ashley checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure everything was up to par. At the table next to us, Ashley spent at least 10-15 minutes explaining dishes to the customers, answering all of their questions that they had. We thought that it was amazing that she was so knowledgeable about the menu - no question threw her off. We could tell they were impressed and appreciative of her help.Overall, it was an amazing anniversary dinner. The service was spectacular - we appreciated Noel and all he did for us. We can’t wait to celebrate our future anniversaries here as well!

    I live in Atlanta and needed to plan a baby shower in NYC. The entire process had to be done remotely. After searching, reading reviews, looking at online sites, pix and connecting with different restaurants and venues. I chose Bottino’s. This was 100% the right decision!Everything was exactly as I hoped for! The entire event team made planning this event easy. They were very responsive to every question and concern. The space was the perfect size and very pretty. The food was excellent and the servers did a great job. Thank you for such a great event.

    Ive been dining at Bottino for years and even had my 40th group birthday diner here many many years ago. The food and service are consistently great. This time we took a private area of the restaurant for our annual holiday friends dinner for 17. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive and the venue was perfect. We had a great time and highly recommend Bottino for any dining experience.

    Bottino is an amazing option for a micro-wedding in New York. As NYC wedding photographers at Megan & Kenneth, we had a great time photographing our couple’s ceremony and intimate dinner celebration. The outdoor patio was the perfect spot for a private wedding celebration. The staff at Bottino has great attention to detail and ensured the guests were all well attended-to, which really makes our job capturing the happy moments throughout the day that much easier. An added bonus? Bottino’s location! A short walk from the High Line meant we could take plenty of photos both at the venue and around iconic New York spots.

    Great place with a backyard garden for outdoor dining that is off the street!! They have a few fans there so it felt great, it was 90 when we when and it didnt feel hot at all.The service was a little slow, but with the conditions were in, totally understandable. The team there was great and most importantly the food was delicious!

    Great space and food. We were a big group and still we didnt wait too long. We got several different starters, all great. And the food managed to come at the same time for all of us, which we appreciated. We particularly loved the octopus and the shrimp pasta. They also have great cocktails; recommended.

    The service was lovely and the food was delicious. Ask for a seat outside in the back and the ambiance is gorgeous as well. I would highly recommend ordering the whipped ricotta appetizer! It was everyone’s favorite dish.

    If you are thinking about having an event at Bottino, you should do it! I cannot recommend the team (Danny, Sydney, and Devon) enough! From the moment I reached out to inquire about the space to the moment our wedding ended every person we interacted with along the way was responsive, professional, helpful, and kind. We were lucky enough to have Sydney running the wedding and she went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was taken care of. She made the evening so memorable and enjoyable for us and our guests. The backyard space is beautiful and quiet, which makes for the perfect space for an intimate ceremony or dinner party. The food and service was incredible and we could not be happier we chose Bottino for our wedding.

    This is a cute Italian spot with pretty amazing pasta located in the Chelsea area. The staff is friendly and attentive and service is greatThe restaurant has a back dining room that is really great for private events. I’ll Beyonce is cozy and nice, and they have all these stringed lights in the back.The salads here are very fresh and perfectly dressed. The pastas are amazing, I’ve tried the tagliatelle with ragu and recommend that. The octopus appetizer is also amazing. My favorite part of the meal was the bread pudding dessert.

    Gorgeous restaurant with very good food. We are a Hollywood Smile Photo Booth rentals and we had a wedding party here last night. I really enjoyed outdoor space. Photo Booth was a great addition to the wedding.

    Fantastic Italian sandwiches. Super fresh ingredients. Very clean. My go-to spot for a delicious, quick lunch. Highly recommend grabbing sandwiches from here and going up to the High Line right outside and eat! I recommend the #2 sandwich (prosciutto, mascarpone, arugula, tomato and basil).

    Great food and amazing outdoor/ indoor patio. They have heaters for the outdoor seating and it is a beautiful patio with a nice breeze and ambiance. Highly recommend the homemade pasta and the roasted chicken, which was fantastic and not overcooked. Excellent dessert selection as well! Make a reservation to try and get patio seating.

    Bottino is a nice large charming space. We really liked the environment that still felt intimate and quite even as we were a large group. We liked the branzino, tagliatelle, and salvia spritz as well as the wine. I did not particularly like the cacio e Pepe—it was underwhelming and felt more like an inspired sauce but I thing the tagliatelle bolognese was very good and not too salty, a common pitfall of restaurant bolognese. You can also skip the arrancini. These plates can be shared or eaten separately. If you are looking for a different spritz, they have a few non-aperol options.

    We had a wonderful time for a holiday gathering. The ambience is beautiful especially with the holiday lights. Every dish was excellent: Cappelletti, Branzino, Octopus, Brussels Sprouts and tarts. The service was great.

    We had our wedding at Bottino recently and could not recommend the restaurant and events team enough! Firstly, the space is beautiful and fit 100+ people comfortably. Secondly, the food and drinks are even more amazing. Our guests could not stop raving about the food particularly the crispy artichokes, generous portions,and just the overall on point flavors. Lastly, the events team (Sydney and Devon) was the most helpful and accommodating duo with all of my requests and little details that made the day so memorable. Shout out to the entire crew Sydney, Devon, Danny, and Jamie for an incredible experience!! We cant wait to visit again soon!

    I hosted my sister’s bridal shower at Bottino and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From the moment of booking, all the staff and the owner Danny were so helpful and responsive. Their timeliness in responding to my questions was unmatched and they made the entire planning process a breeze.The space itself is absolutely beautiful. We used the North Garden, which all our guests commented felt like a serene oasis away from the city, and also had the Pool Room to extend into for a cocktail space. The garden provided the perfect backdrop for the decor we brought with us and truly tied everything together beautifully.The food was excellent and the waitstaff very helpful and professional.I do not have a single negative thing to say about our experience. I would highly recommend Bottino for anyone looking to host an event in the city!

    I ordered from their takeout side (mostly sandwiches, soups, and salads). i got the #4 sandwich (sopressata, fontina, and roasted peppers) with mixed greens on a baguette. the sandwich was possibly one of the bests i’ve had since moving to new york city. the sopressata was flavorful yet balanced perfectly with the fontina’s creamy, cheesy flavor. their vegetables were all incredibly fresh— the roasted peppers caramelized to bring out the sweet flavor, and every bite had a perfect harmony of sweet and savory. i would love to give their restaurant a try at some point!

    Beautiful, upscale, and warm ambiance. A great place to host a small wedding in the summer, in their back garden seating area. The layout of the restaurant works well for having a wedding, with different sections of the restaurant for having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Food is delicious too and the service staff did a great job taking care of us.For main courses my favorites were their branzino and the steak.

    Excellent sandwich shop. They have large variety of custom made sandwiches. You get to choose you bread they have freshly baked 🍞 bread there . Regular or olive infused loaf. We had the 9.5 and 15. Both sandwiches were moist and juicy and filling. The cookies are super large and we got a free one too. The ice tea and lemonade are always freshly Made.

    I am sitting in Bottinos paying our bill and I was moved to write this review. I have food allergies and the waiter and kitchen took it seriously. Then they made an error and one of my allergens was in a dish. Before I could take a bite, two people swooped in and removed it. They then offered me several alternatives and brought them all! They even comped all but the least expensive dish. And if I wasnt already in love with this restaurant they even brought us two glasses of the house sparkling wine. Thank you Anthony and Braden and the kitchen staff and chef. Im a fan.

    Such a cute neighborhood gem! The service is really nice and they definitely spoiled me on my birthday. We ordered dessert but they brought out an extra one as a gift as well as Prosecco for the table and the manager brought out a couple of extra amaros for us to taste when he noticed that I had ordered one for myself.The arancini and market salad were nice starters. For dinner we had the bolognese, cacio pepe, and branzino which were all delicious but the pasta for the bolognese was a little too thin for me.

    We just had the most amazing and magical night at Bottino and can’t recommend them enough. Our party had some special needs and the staff all went above and beyond to accommodate us, and couldn’t have been lovelier about it. They set us up with the most beautiful table. All of the staff were gracious, professional and kind. Anthony the manager was especially a joy. He came to meet us and visited with us throughout the evening to make sure all was well.     Have been coming to their sandwich shop for years and finally came for dinner. Was absolutely worth it. We had an anniversary and the staff politely got Prosecco and said congrats without being over the top. They were nice enough to split our entrees we split in the kitchen too.     I held a small wedding at Bottino in October 2020. The owner, Danny was a pleasure to work with before the wedding and made great recommendations. The food, setting, and staff were wonderful the day of. The staff did a seamless job of setting up the ceremony and then transitioning to the dinner setup. All of our guests raved about the food (great quality and huge portions!). The garden is beautiful for an outdoor occasion or dinner, especially since there is a glass roof and heat lamps!

    We had lunch from there to go side and ate in the main restaurant since it was between lunch and dinner. It was a fig/prosciutto on a sourdough bread. Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. And it wasn’t even toasted. Lovely ambiance. Like a neighborhood Italian restaurant. The manager was awesome and told us about a beautiful sea side town called Tropea. A special New York moment. ❤️🙌🏼

    I had a team dinner here on a Tuesday. The staff greeted us with smiles. We sat in the back outdoor area. The weather was perfect. The lights came on around when it got dark. We could hear ourselves talking without having to shout. We rarely heard a siren. We almost forgot we were in NYC.

    Had my birthday dinner there and was concerned about eating outside on a cold possibly rainy night. The covered and charming garden was toasty warm with air heaters. Lots of ambiance! Service was outstanding, thanks Lindsey! Food was delish. Only disappointment was that they ran out of most desserts the night before and didnt have replacements, so no cake. Our server offered us a bit of bubbly to make up for it!

    We recently had a small wedding here, and Danny and all the staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. They truly helped make our day special. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was (particularly the branzino), and how lovely the space and ambiance were. We especially appreciated how staff followed COVID-related health measures and helped us in maintaining social distancing guidelines. We highly recommend Bottino both for private events and for the food and setting more generally.

    Bottino hosted my husbands birthday celebration last night and everything was perfect! Working with Danny to plan the dinner was such a breeze, and he was so accommodating to our needs. The group had a great time, the food was delicious, and the service was great. The garden is beautiful and we felt that we were able to safely dine at a distance from other people at the restaurant. I would highly recommend Bottino for an everyday experience, or to plan a special event!

    My partner and I stopped in for dinner before attending a show last Thursday and had a great experience with food and service. I had the misfortune to catch my glass of red wine while reaching for one of our antipasti and spilled it on myself (while wearing a white cashmere sweater 😬)Our server and other members of staff were so gracious and helpful, doing what they could to quickly address the spill so we could continue our dinner. They even replaced my glass, and offered what help they could for my poor sweater. Excellent job all around, and particularly wanted to give a shout out for the folks working on January 5th. (PS red wine stains will come out of cashmere with a bit of a soak in vinegar and detergent until the stains dissipate, followed by a gentle handwash)

    Hi, I recently Photographed a Wedding at Bottinos Restaurant.Working there was such a pleasure, the staff had my back at all times, there was never any drama or problems. We ended up trying a couple appetizers and even dessert — after eating a full meal, all because the atmosphere was so wonderful we did not want to leave. The artichokes melt in your mouth. We tried every dessert. They’re worth every calorie. The pecan pie and chocolate tiramisu stood out. Anthony, the manager or maitre’d, made our night special. We will be coming back often.

    I had a great time here! I would highly recommend if your visiting Manhattan or someone who currently lives here. The food was superb, the service was excellent, and the space is so beautiful. Literally nothing bad to say here! I attended a private event here yesterday and the ambience of the space was so beautiful! Def a great place for a romantic dinner or just a high class, chic place to have dinner in. I got the steak and it was amazing! Best steak I’ve ever had, get it medium rare. I had the walnut salad, which was dressed perfectly. I heard the branzino was excellent (from the person sitting next to me) and the chicken was too. I got the poached pears and the zabaglione which was so delicious I had two servings lol. You really just can’t go wrong in coming here, everything taste delicious. I will say, as a small aside, my Mom is vegetarian and she didn’t feel there was a ton of options (she also can’t have cheese or tomatoes) so since it is an italian restaurant, there isn’t much flexibility with that, since most things include that. The finger foods they came around with were so good too! Smoked salmon, avocado on toast, caprese on a stick so many things so well done! Make your way here quickly, you won’t regret it!

    I don’t know where to begin with my review. My husband and I had a great wedding and experience at Bottino’s. Our budget was smaller than we were anticipating, but Bottino’s managed to deliver us an incredible experience for the budget we had. The owner Danny was incredible - he answered all of our questions quickly, made great recommendations and made the whole process easy. Sydney was also a great help the day of, ensuring a smooth flow to the wedding and helping to make sure everything was world class. The curated menu was absolutely delicious, from prosciutto and mozzarella, to bruschetta, Cacio E Pepe and a NY Strip Steak, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. I couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone who was looking to book Bottino’s for their wedding, but the food was so good that we can see ourselves returning for dinner in the future.

    Wonderful Italian restaurant.. My friends and I meet here at least a couple times a year for someones birthday.. Its been a neighborhood classic for so long. The food is always so good, the staff is great and they always make you feel at home. My go to here is the Tagliatelle Bolognese and the strong back up is the Tuscan Seafood Stew.

    I visited Bottino for the first time with a group of friends last night and I have to say the experience was exceptional! The environment was refined and laid back at the same time, the wine was FANTASTIC, and we loved every dish we ordered. The standouts were #1Bovio 18 barolo (I think we ordered three bottles!); #2 fried artichokes and arancini starters and crispy brussels sprouts contorni; #3 cacio pepe, spaghetti vongole, and cappelletti pastas; #4 beef shank; and finally #5 the tiramisu and bread pudding. Overall - you wont go wrong with anything you order here! We had vegetarians in our group and they had plenty of options!

    Upon walking in, the greeting was nothing but familiar family vibes lol, they took a temperature reading & then on our way to our seating in their beautiful outdoor seating area.Waiter approached us no longer that 3 minutes introducing himself & asking if all is ok.     Situated way over on the West Side, Bottino is a solid neighborhood restaurant in one of the citys most creative neighborhoods. Full with artists and dealers from local galleries, this light and chic-simple spot has the atmosphere of an oasis, one thats amplified by a bucolic back garden (make reservations). Food here is rustic, changes with the seasons and never fussy. Think tomato and arugula salad with shaved pecorino, spaghettini with clams, and roast chicken with mashed potatoes. Lunches are particularly special here and theres often a good happy hour crowd.

    First I must say the service here at Bottino is superb. Ross was such a great host and started my order with a Margarita la Silciliana with jalapeño infused patron, blood orange, lime juice and triple sec. I ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts Agrodolce which was cooked to perfection and super tasty. I also ordered the Cavatelli alla Norma which was absolutely delightful. I really enjoyed the texture of the cavatelli pasta with the charred eggplant, tomato, pickled peppers. I didn’t get the ricotta saltata with it since I’m vegan. Here at Bottino the staff accompanied my dietary restrictions with absolutely no hesitation which kept me at ease. The restroom was tidy and overall I enjoyed my dinner experience and look forward to dining here again in the near future. Thank you Bottino 😀

    Weve eaten at Bottino several times since we live in the area and its always been a lovely experience. The food is always excellent, but the ambiance and service is really what made us love Bottino. Its hard to describe, but the pacing is perfect where you dont feel like youre waiting but also dont feel rushed through a dinner. I recently booked a large reservation as a surprise for my fiances birthday since we love Bottinos outdoor garden area and they were extremely helpful and accommodating with all of our little requests. Getting an outdoor table in the garden isnt a guarantee with reservations but they made the best effort and were able to get us one. Thank you so much to Danny and the entire Bottino team. From casual weekday dinners to larger celebratory events, we cant recommend Bottino enough.

    A very nice Italian restaurant who cater for big groups. The food, service and drinks were all very good. Great variation of options on the menu. The cacio e pepe is tasty!

    Went here last night with my girlfriend and the service is incredible. The food was amazing from the salad to the steak to the pasta. Everything was perfect. The owner even saw I had bought flowers and asked if we wanted it watered. Could not recommend this place more. I definitely will be dining here again.

    My Husband and I love this place! We had our wedding here at Bottino! Danny and Sydney made sure our wedding day was perfect! Everyone had a great time! Words cannot express how much we appreciate all of the kindness of all the staff and the care they provided us and our guests! Most Importantly, food and drinks were AMAZING as always!We definitely recommend this place for any private events or even a nice dinner with the special someone!
