    They were slammed and still found time to get us in without reservations (group of 4). The server was phenomenal and cared about making our experience perfect.     We had an absolutely incredible experience at Chazz Palminteri Italian Restaurant in Manhattan! I visited with my parents and aunt for the lunch prix fixe, and everything—from the food to the service—was outstanding.The entire wait staff was attentive and friendly, but we especially want to shout out the maître d’, Nikola, who was incredibly welcoming and kind to us. He made us feel right at home and truly elevated our experience.The food was exceptional, and we couldn’t stop raving about each course. (leaving no crumbs!) By the end of the day, we all agreed that this restaurant was the highlight of our city adventure.We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit. Highly recommend Chazz Palminteri’s to anyone looking for amazing Italian food, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable dining experience!

    Amazing. There’s nothing else to say about this restaurant. The staff, the ambiance, the food and the service was on par, can not fault it one bit. Always wanted to visit the restaurant and been a big fan of Chazz Palminteri as an actor and was hoping to see him as he also attends and meets the guest but no luck 😂. I suggested this restaurant to my friend last month and he was lucky enough to see Chazz him self at the restaurant.P.S the staff also surprised my wife with a birthday cake as we were celebrating her 50th birthday.

    I made a reservation and sat at the bar. I reviewed the menu earlier and selected it differently than expected. The establishment didnt have the half bottle I selected, but the alternate was flavorful, and I enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed everything about the options for restaurant week. I was surprised to see a dog sitting on his owners lap at the bar, but its New York, so you roll with it.

    Stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The service, atmosphere and food were top notch. Didnt have a reservation but the hostess was nice enough to find us a table on a busy night. I recommend this place for a nice dinner out or for a special occasion.

    My boyfriend surprised me with a Valentine’s Dinner here. The space was dim lit and romantic and the food was so amazing, I raved about my branzino for days. It was such a great experience and truly good service and food. I also highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert.

    The restaurant and the service is amazing. Lots of vegetarian options. Our server also customized a vegetarian pasta just for us. They have a good wine selection as well. The complimentary bread is delicious. Highly recommended restaurant for good Italian food.

    A great Italian place! The service was truly amazing. Our server understood that we were vegetarians and he customised everything so well. Nice Wine selection and the complimentary bread is delicious. Usually I struggle to finish a plate of Ravioli in one go but I couldn’t help myself from clearing the plate. Pasta was amazing too. Definitely recommend this place. Perfect for a candle lit date night. Thank you Chazz Palminteri for beautiful dinner experience! 😊

    From the outside when you walk by, this place is a sleeper...one cannot see the two spacious dining rooms in the back. In the bottom of the new Hilton Garden Inn...what amazing flavors in food. Stopped in for a quick happy hour bite and Im hooked. Great happy hour drinks...I went with an old fashoned. Sat at the bar. Just for a quick bite and drinks...out came the amazing bread, olive oil with chopped vegetables, fresh parmesesen cheese and olives. My meatballs, with fresh ricotta cheese and fresh basil were amazingly flavorful.

    Well I usually do not rate a 5 on all the categories however this restaurant deserves it. Was a great fine dinning experience. From appetizers to dessert. Filet Mignon was tender and could cut it with a fork ( like butter) The calamari appetizer was the most delicious I have ever had ( so tender ) My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and was perfectly done and presented. The Tiremesu was tasty and creamy. They also have an extensive wine 🍷 list with great selections. Make your reservation and GO!

    This was my first time at Chazz Palminteri’s restaurant in NYC. From the first step walking in, greeted by the wonderful hostess to the excellent wait staff and Antine the manager, and topping it off with the excellent taste of food, I highly recommend this restaurant!     We booked a table at Chazz Palmenteri as it was close to our hotel and Grand Central Station, so the location was very convenient. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and was very intimate. The antipasto was served promptly and very fresh. The bread has a great crumb and a perfect crunch. The small wedges of Parmesan were clearly broken in the traditional way, rather than sliced, which was a great detail that is often missed. The bitter olives paired well with the rich bread and cheese.We ordered an appetizer of calamari which was some of the most tender that I have ever had. The breading was the perfect consistency and the tomato sauce was light enough to complement the squid without overpowering it.My fiancé ordered the four cheese tagliatelle. The pasta itself was very clearly made in house and had the lovely characteristic elasticity of egg noodles. The sauce was rich and cheesy without being too thick or sticky.I ordered the minestrone and found that the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The vegetables were seasoned well and cooked to the point of being tender without losing all of their textures.For my main course, I ordered the gnocchi with ragout. I was skeptical ordering this as there were so many phenomenal options on the menu that I was worried that I may be missing out by ordering something so simple. I was wrong. This gnocchi is the second time that food has ever made me cry. It was so perfectly light that it almost melted in my mouth. The sauce was rich but let the flavor of the dumplings shine through. The meat was evenly cut and fork tender, but stayed hearty. This gnocchi made me cry. I haven’t had such incredible gnocchi since my Nonna passed away. The first bite took me back to being four years old, sitting on her kitchen floor, tasting it fresh off the stove.This entire meal was a fantastic experience and the perfect way to end our brief stay in New York.I’ll give this restaurant the highest compliment that I can possibly give a restaurant, and one that I have only given once before.I would have payed more, much more, for this.

    We went on a Tuesday early evening so it wasn’t too crowded. My daughter had the pesto gnocchi which was amazing. That’s a pretty big compliment considering I don’t usually care for pesto (too oily) or gnocchi (too starchy). Definitely would recommend!Service was good. The restaurant is attached to a hotel but don’t let that make you a doubter!

    We came here for casual dinner . We were all pleased with the hospitality and great service. The food was really good. Everything we order was done and seasoned perfectly.     I went there for three courses lunch on a weekday. The services my company and I experienced were absolutely classic Italian; attentive, considerate and elegant. The seafood tomato spaghetti was more than great indeed but the highlight would go to their tiramisu which comes with cream and berries on the side.

    My daughter and I were treated like family here. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and absolutely lovely. We stayed at the hotel and popped in for dinner on three nights of our stay. They always took us without a reservation and made us feel so special. We cant wait to visit NY again and to come back. To top it off, everything we ate was positively delicious.

    The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious. The drinks were amazing! My group had 4 drinks each because they tasted so good. Our waiter was amazing!     I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but there were too many misses to give it the full 5. This place does have a lot of redeeming qualities though.Cocktails were not great. Got the old fashioned and it was not well balanced. Boyfriend got the tropical martini and that was just a very strange drink.Bresaola was almost too salty to eat, had to pair it with the bread. Not entirely sure why it was decided to pair that with anchovies and cappers for a cured meat, seems like salt overkill.I was really looking forward to the Bronx tail pasta which looked really good from the pictures. But the preparation and cooking of the seafood was disappointing. The lobster was clearly way overdone and the mussels were sandy. That being said the pasta was amazing as was the sauce. I believe they milled the tomatoes and them made an incredibly flavorful sauce. I would assume if it was a different protein the pasta would have been phenomenal.The redeeming dish I had here was a Branzino. If you like seafood, I definitely recommend that.Pasta, sauce, and Branzino saved this place from getting a much lower rating.The atmosphere was also quite nice, white table cloth and a little more upscale. But dress code isn’t really enforced…ended up sitting next to a guy in a wife beater which looked a little out of place for something trying to be a little more upscale.

    We walked down for late night dinner after long day running around NYC. Beets, salad and cheesecake were delicious. Manager and servers were all very pleasant. It’s a very cute restaurant, nice atmosphere. The pasta options looked amazing but we were just full from being out in the sun all day!

    We had a very good dinner here this past Saturday night for my wifes birthday, we made dinner reservations for 4 at 8PM. I am a big time listener of the Bernie & Sid show and never miss any of their shows, I here Mr. Palminteri on with them all the time. I listen to Bernie, Sid, & Chazz talk about the restaurant and finally decided to go into the city & try it out for myself. Without the restaurant mentions on the show I may have never gotten this opportunity. The restaurant hosts were very friendly, the waiters were very friendly. Nice atmosphere, the entire staff was constantly making sure everyone was happy. The Calamari Fritti was cooked perfectly, the Pollo Alla Parmigiana was very good, Salmone Selvatico Palminteri was delicious. I ended the night with Tiramisu that was very good. Overall a good experience. Chazz you now owe Sid another meal!

    We went to Chazz Palminteris for New Years Eve before the ball drop. It was a great experience. The food was good and they even cooked fresh Gluten Free penne for my wife. For 125.00 pp, we got a 3 course dinner. My wife got the boneless short rib which she said was delicious. But the risotto that accompanied it left a lot to be desired. She could not eat it. It was our fault not to send it back to the kitchen. but it was New Years Eve. And we were getting ready to walk over to the ball drop, so there was no time. Overall the service was satisfactory, but we would not return. There are lots of other better Italian restaurants in the city.

    We had a restaurant cancel our reservation last minute for a group of 22, including 14 6th graders.Not only was Chazz able to accommodate all of us and dietary restrictions (GF/vegetarians in our group) but the service was excellent, exceedingly fast and the food was amazing!This was truly the shining meal of our New York trip, and I would not hesitate to return!Shoutout to Patti, the concierge are the Marquee Marriot for the recommendation and help with reservations!

Food was generally good, but not spectacular. Nothing was bad. Some dishes were better than others. Blue Point Oysters were OK, but could have been better. Braseola was so-so at best. Fried calamari and octopus were great. A few folks had salmon and said it was just OK. Veal Marsala was very good, as were the gnocchi. Prices were reasonable. I would come back for another meal.

    We had a wonderful meal here on Friday evening and the lamb was the best we had so far in NYC. It reminded us of lamb in Australia!     Don’t think “oh, it’s another celebrity-named joint, nothing more”. Many of us have experienced disappointing meals at celebrity or famous chef restaurants. This is not one of them. As you walk in your greeted and then on the right will be there extensive bar. I enjoyed a gin and tonic and thought it was fairly priced.As for the food I was recommended to try the special. The special that they had for me was a delicious pasta dish. I would show them the picture and say I want that. The sauce mixed the meats was a delicious combo.     Exceeded expectations! I read the good and negative reviews (bathroom access... not an issue at ALL). Food was very good. Everything we had, simple things, that other restaurants just get wrong ( lobster bisque - best we have had. Not heavy nor too creamy. So good! Ceasar Salad.. nothing usual to report. However, this one was light and just plain good! I rarely eat all of my salad, and this one was easy to finish and happily!). BTW we split the soup and salad, they played it seperately without asking as we would have been happy to eat off the same bowl/plate). Entrees... had a taste for pasta. Whatever pasta you get will be fantastic. We added a Diablo sauce on the side. We each added the sauce, and the amazing food was kicked up even better. The dishes were very good on its own (We just love a lille spice). We told our waiter, Aulon, we wanted to relax and enjoy our time there as we did not have anywhere to go afterwards, and he did not rush us at all.     The food is very good here. The fried calamari is made tender with a nice golden batter and the sauce is maybe one of the best Ive ever had. Ive tried almost everything on the lunch price fix menu and have been very happy with almost everything. I My only disappointment was with the burger which was a nice size but pretty basic and the bun was very dry. This was the one time I just felt like not doing the when in Rome thing. The fries, however were perfect. The common problem here is the inconsistency in portion size. Youll find yourself envious of the people at the table who have literally double the size of your steak, salmon or cheese cake and in some cases it looks like you have half of a half. The other minor complaint was that the accompanying vegetables were cold or at room temperature. With that said, this is probably the best Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and well all be back.

    We visited this restaurant for pre-theatre dinner. Located close to the theaters in the area it was a hop, skip and a jump to our theatre reservations. A few of us ordered the branzino special which was filleted and served over gnocchi. The branzino was flaky and mild and their gnocchis were to die for, light, airy and the sauce was delicious. I am glad I ordered it as a starter and I followed up with a Lemon Drop made to perfect and Branzino accompanied with mash and mixed vegetables. The ambience was divine and it was quiet where we had amazing conversation. My friend had the Ceasar Salad as well and Pollo Parmigiana with a Brazilian Cosmopolitan. We celebrated with another round and the tunes of Happy Birthday candlelit Tiramisu. I appreciate the extra effort to make us not only feel welcome the kind gesture to make my friend feel celebrated.     In town for 1 year anniversary with my wife. Came to this place with high expectations, and those expectations were exceeded. Very friendly host. Friendly waiters. Very romantic setting. The food was top tier. The best minestrone soup. I ordered the Bronx Tale as thats one of my favorite movies and Im glad I did. Very exquisite dish loaded with mouthwatering flavor. The best part was the end, we ordered Tiramisu with a scoop of Gelato. I swear it is the best Ive ever had. My appetite was 110 percent satisfied. My wife ordered blackened linguine with seafood. She is still talking about it a day later. We will definitely revisit when we are back in NY. Hopefully I can run into one of my favorite actors next time lol. Saddest thing in life is a waste of talent, good thing this place has plenty of it.

    Above Outstanding - the food is delicious and looks presentable. The stuff and the manager are amazingly doing great job to satisfy the customers. the environment is sumptuous. If you have never been there, I advice you to visit it at lease once - because you will love it.

    An excellent Italian restaurant in midtown. We ordered the appetizers (shrimp cocktail), minestrone soup and steaks. Everything was perfect and the service was pretty phenomenonal. A little pricey but treat yourself to an outstanding dining experience.

    I recently dined at Chazz Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive.     Came here on a recommendation and the pasta was fantastic. I had the carbonara and it was just right. Perfect amount compared to most Italian places. There were five birthdays there that night so its a great birthday location

    My wife and I had an excellent meal here, and rather on-the-fly. We called for a reservation, but it was a prime dinner hour (we had attended Colberts taping). We figured wed take a chance and just show up. Lucky we did.The VERY gracious hostess took us to what I later learned was the boss table and we enjoyed a wonderful meal
